📝 #Lesson | Choosing Between Light and Darkness

🔹Inside the mother's womb, the fetus exists in complete darkness. If you were to out your hand on their eyes and ask what it is, they would say:

"I don't know."

You explain to them:

"These are eyes, meant for seeing. You are going to see the world with them, in your next life outside the womb."

They laugh at you and say,

"Leave it. No one has ever returned from there. I only need to grasp onto the umbilical cord, that's all I need. That's my everything."

Their contentment lies in holding onto the umbilical cord - their lifeline. However, that cord must eventually get cut off, so they can be fed through a new way. This example signifies the continuation of the journey towards Allah. After death, the means of sustenance will evolve. your feeding path will change.

🔸Exactly, if you have too much attachment to that umbilical cord, it will kill you as you approach your birth. Some get suffocated with the umbilical cord. Some people get strangled or ensnared by their worldly attachment in life, but they don't realize it. Existence of Light is necessary in such cases.

🔹But now imagine someone who hasn't forgotten his fetus times, and remembers the environment of the mother's womb well, and even after venturing out and seeing the light, enjoying the freedom of movement, running, hearing, yet he prefers to return into the mother's womb and chooses the darkness. Such a person's situation is horrifying. They actually love the darkness.

🔹When Mustafa proposed me for marriage, my mother gave him a head’s up on how living with me will require pampering me. For instance, he will be required to make me a cup of milk coffee every morning, when I wake up from my sleep. In a nutshell, life with me is not going to be a breeze. God knows best, Mustafa served me coffee until he got martyred, even though he wasn’t fond of coffee himself and never really drank it. I once asked him,

“Why are you doing me such favors? I don’t like causing you any incontinences.”

To which, Mustafa replied,

“I promised your mother I would provide these services to you.”

It was his love and affection that rendered our life in a divine colour.

📝 #Lesson | Technique for Overcoming Envy (Jealousy)

🔹There are some undesirable qualities within us that are difficult to eliminate. But each time we emerge victorious over them, the next victory becomes easier for us. We learn to confront our ego. Envy can affect both you and me. All of us possess a certain level of envy. Envy is a very frightening quality! Satan was envious; Shimr was envious; those who stood in front of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) were envious.

🔸Sometime you envy someone insignificant like me, and that doesn't matter much, ultimately a calamity may befall you. But there may be a time when you envy someone dear and loved by God,. That could have dire consequences! May God show mercy upon you! It is as if you are a negative number, manipulated into the positive number of that person. For example, if you envy someone whose rate is 10, your rate become -10. There may be a time when you envy Imam Hussain (PBUH), you become negative Imam Hussain; you become Shimr!

🔹Now we want to combat this envy. How to eliminate it? To combat envy, we must show respect to the person we envy. By doing so, we feel discomfort and burn from inside, but our Ego gets trained and fixed. After some time, that quality will be like a wet clay that is loose and can be washed away. Ultimately, you reach a point where you see that the envy in you has almost disappeared entirely.

💠#Lesson | Preparations for the Advent of Mahdi a.j

🔹The advent and coming of Imam Mahdi a.j is tied to real-world conditions. When Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) states,

'One-third of the world’s population will die from illness before the advent, but our Shias will not die.'

➖ What does this mean? This indicates that Shias have a strong healthcare system and are cautious not to blindly follow global protocols.

🔸 Alright? So, where are these preparations? If it is said,

'One-third will die in red death, in wars, but our Shias will not be killed. [1]

➖This implies that no aggressor would dare target the Shias.


🔹 This is the essence of preparing for the arrival of Imam Mahdi a.j. Being a preparer means taking action and starting now:

'In matters of health and biosecurity, we must rank among the bests in the world!"

🔹I opened the door and found two men standing by it. One of them said, “Is this the house of Sayyad Shirazi?” I got concerned. He said,

“Mr. Colonel sent you a message.”

🔹And then he handed me an envelope. I walked to the yard, and opened the envelope. I was deeply concerned thinking, they had brought me the news of his martyrdom. Upon opening the envelope, I saw a ring in it with a note saying:

“In order to thank you for your efforts, I always pray for you.”

🔹My eyes were filled with tears of happiness upon reading Ali’s note.

✍️ Wedding In The Self-Service Area…


🌿Our wedding hall was the self-service area of the university. The Dr. asked,
“Would you like me to get a house?”
“No, the dormitory is fine.” I replied.
Dr. Ghofrani, Dr. Salehi and their wives were our guests. We set a small tablecloth, we had two blankets and two cushions. We proudly hosted those great masters. We placed the computer on a small table similar to how people back in the days, in the old age used to put under the sewing machine. Dr. Abbasi’s son was supposed to come visit us.
Dr. Shahriari had asked him to bring a chair along himself in the case he came over.
