📝 #Lesson | Choosing Between Light and Darkness

🔹Inside the mother's womb, the fetus exists in complete darkness. If you were to out your hand on their eyes and ask what it is, they would say:

"I don't know."

You explain to them:

"These are eyes, meant for seeing. You are going to see the world with them, in your next life outside the womb."

They laugh at you and say,

"Leave it. No one has ever returned from there. I only need to grasp onto the umbilical cord, that's all I need. That's my everything."

Their contentment lies in holding onto the umbilical cord - their lifeline. However, that cord must eventually get cut off, so they can be fed through a new way. This example signifies the continuation of the journey towards Allah. After death, the means of sustenance will evolve. your feeding path will change.

🔸Exactly, if you have too much attachment to that umbilical cord, it will kill you as you approach your birth. Some get suffocated with the umbilical cord. Some people get strangled or ensnared by their worldly attachment in life, but they don't realize it. Existence of Light is necessary in such cases.

🔹But now imagine someone who hasn't forgotten his fetus times, and remembers the environment of the mother's womb well, and even after venturing out and seeing the light, enjoying the freedom of movement, running, hearing, yet he prefers to return into the mother's womb and chooses the darkness. Such a person's situation is horrifying. They actually love the darkness.

✍️ Every problem in society traces back to ignoring the Quran’s verses. No one who follows the Quran’s wisdom and guidance ever reaches a dead end.
Poverty, hunger, even death—these aren’t the real tragedies. The true tragedy is losing faith, where belief is wounded and real defeat takes root.

▫️Faith is a complete system—intellectual, personal, and social.
If you compromise, hoping to protect people’s faith but end up weakening their religion, something has gone wrong with how you’ve applied the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha.

✍️ "Tolerance" that sidelines the faithful and empowers the faithless isn’t tolerance—it’s corruption.
In war, ideology, culture, or economics, the rule is the same: every failure means a divine command was ignored.

🔰 In Surah Muhammad, Allah says clearly:
"I could have helped you, but

«وَلَٰكِنْ لِيَبْلُوَ بَعْضَكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ» (47:4)

"I test you through trials."

▫️Notice: He doesn’t say,

"I’ll make you stronger through hardship."

He says,

"I’ll test you to reveal who you really are."

🔺This test isn’t about building power—it’s about purification. True strength comes only after purity.

✍️ In times like Karbala, these verses explain why some fall away while others rise.
A group with no hypocrisy can’t be broken—no betrayal, no defeat.

⬅️ History shows only one group was flawless: the companions of Imam Hussain (PBUH).
Their unity didn’t bring instant victory, it was their purity that forged unshakable strength.

✍️ The Quran doesn’t promise power first. It demands purity. Then, the sincere unite, and true strength emerges.

▫️This is the "theology of war" in Surah Muhammad.

✍️ A man who served the tyrants came to Imam Sadiq (PBUH):

"I helped them sin. Can I repent?"

▫️The Imam (a) replied:

"Return every penny you stole. Do this, and I’ll hold your hand at death."

He did, leaving himself only the bare minimum.

✍️ On his deathbed, he smiled:

"The Imam promised he’d come. Now I see him, he kept his word."

🔘 Courage brings honor. And the Imam who arrives when needed?

That’s Wilayah. That’s mercy.

This is Allah’s true kindness.

📝 #Lesson | Neither rush ahead of the Imam nor fall behind Him.

🔹There are some people who rush ahead of the Leader of the community. For example, they address the Imam saying,

"No sir, you should do this!"

The Prophet promised that they will en going to Hajj; when they were about to go, the polytheists interrupted and a dispute arose which led to the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.

🔸In a particular incident, the Prophet declared:

"We will go for Hajj next year."

The second Caliph, in a state of protest, challenged him and said:

"You promised we would go for Hajj. What happened?"

The Prophet calmly replied:

"We will go next year."

Unconvinced, Omar persisted:

"No, we must go for Hajj this year! What kind of negotiation was this? What agreement did you make?"

And in the end, he said,

"I will fight against them."

He took up the sword and headed towards to make a conflict; in return, the polytheists attacked back.

🔹The Messenger of Allah (s) told Imam Ali (a):

"Go and prevent him from starting a war."

When the polytheists saw Imam Ali (PBUH), they got scared and turned back. The issue was always made by those who were over heated and those who were so chill. That is why in the Ziarat al-Jamia we are taught:

"Do not go ahead of the Imam, and do not lag behind."

📖 On page 736 of the book "Hadith-e Nasr", Ayatollah Nasrullah Shah-Abadi narrates a memory from Amir-Mehdi Ashtiani, the son of Master Mirza Mehdi Ashtiani:

🖊 During his journey to Mashhad, the late Mirza Mehdi Ashtiani fell ill and was taken out of the car. Suddenly, he found himself in the desert of Arafat, standing before a luminous tent belonging to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

🖊He entered the tent, kissed the Prophet’s hand, and said:

"O Messenger of Allah, I have three requests."

🖊The Prophet (PBUH) replied:

"Your matter is in the hands of my son, Ali ibn Musa al-Reza PBUH"

🖊Then, he entered another tent where he saw Imam Reza PBUH alone and presented his requests:

1️⃣ A personal request
2️⃣ Protection of Iran from the threat of communists
3️⃣ Healing from a chronic illness

Imam Reza PBUH responded:

✅ "The first request is granted."

✅ Regarding the second: 'As long as we are in this land, they cannot harm it.'

❌ "But your illness will remain with you until the end of your life—it is your destiny, and you must endure it."


➡️ This profound vision, documented in the footnotes of the book alongside similar accounts from other great figures, unveils a powerful truth: The fate of the Iranian nation is under the guardianship of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza PBUH.

🇮🇷 The Imam’s clear statement about the second request was not just an answer to a plea but a light upon an enduring truth, the spiritual foundation of this land.

On one side, I saw markings indicating my previous visits. But on the other, a sentence that left me in awe:*

'Your freedom from the Fire; King of the Faith, Reza.'

✍️ In the battlefield of wills, sanctions are not the enemy’s only weapon. Before economic pressure can cripple a nation, the indoctrination of defeat and collapse from within must take hold. Distortion of reality is a hidden plague—one that erodes a society’s psychological security. When minds fall captive to distortion:

🔹 With high prices, despair can be instilled.
🔹 With high prices, false hope can be fabricated.

➡️ The Quran warns of

مُرجَفون

al-Murjifoon
those who spread fear

➡️ considering them more dangerous than economic corrupters, for they weaken the believers' resolve with doubt and anxiety.

✍️ Distortion creates an environment where corruption not only thrives but expands unchallenged. In such a climate, embezzlers manipulate systems for their own gain, while distorted minds resign themselves to the thought: "If others were in charge, it would be worse."

◾️ In an era when Gaza’s resistance—armed with nothing but determination—shattered the myth of the Zionist regime’s invincibility, it is absurd that some inside Iran still say: "If you spit at Israel, America will slap you!"

⚠️ The real threat does not come from the visible enemy but from wavering hearts and poisoned minds.

🔹In our traditions, faith is divided into 4 stages:

1️⃣Verbal Declaration (Even hypocrites share this; it protects their blood and dignity.)

2️⃣Inner Conviction (Hidden faith—requires actions like prayer and charity.)

3️⃣Fulfillment of Duties (Performing divine obligations properly.)

4️⃣Divine Confirmation (Allah instills the "Spirit of Faith"—sinning repels it.)

📖 "One who commits adultery, drinks alcohol, or steals loses faith in that moment—the Spirit of Faith departs."

💠 Imam Sadiq (A.S.) said:

"The heart has two ears (spiritual and devilish). Listening to angels elevates faith; listening to Satan corrupts it. Mixed faith (with sin) is useless until purified by repentance."

❓ #IslamicTeaching | Temporary vs. Permanent Faith

We all see ourselves as Faithful peole, yet FAITH itself comes in 2 distinct forms.

✏️Types of Faith:

1️⃣"Mustaqar" (Permanent): Stays until death.

2️⃣"Mustawda’" (Loaned): Can be taken away if neglected.

⚠️ Most people have "on-loan faith"—easily lost under pressure (e.g., cursing God after a tragedy).

💠 Imam Sadiq (A.S.):

"A servant may be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever by night. Allah loans faith but revokes it if one proves unworthy."

✨ True faith (Mustaqarr) makes one a companion of Imam Mahdi (a.j).

🔹 "Thanks to God, we love Imam Hussain (pbuh), but is it permanent? We believe in the Hereafter, but is it tested?"

❓ How to solidify our faith?

✅Avoid hypocrisy
✅Act on claims
✅And endure trials without losing faith.

📖 "Even if Imam Mahdi (a.j) praises you, stay vigilant. Some early devotees later earned his curse." ⚠️

✍🏻 On Martyr Sadr’s anniversary, the Leader’s platforms shared his past remarks:

"Decades ago, I urged seminaries to teach Martyr Sadr’s works, like Ḥalaqāt, as core texts."

▫️A profound tragedy! When a call for intellectual revival is ignored—or worse, opposed—it undermines leadership. This aligns with the marjifūn (fearmongers) playbook.

✍🏻 The marjif machinery sows doubt about the Leader’s directives. Whether political, academic, or cultural, their goal is to paralyze through fear.

➡️ If seminarians fear studying Martyr Sadr, that too is irjāf (fearmongering). Such sabotage guarantees defeat.

🔰 #IslamicTeaching | Military Front: Proof of the Enemy’s Panic

✍🏻 When the enemy throws its full media and military weight against you, it’s not proof of your weakness—it’s proof of your strength. The enemy doesn’t battle the weak; it devours them without a fight.

«فَإِذَا لَقِیتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَضَرْبَ الرِّقَابِ محمد:4
So when you meet the disbelievers ˹in battle˺, strike ˹their˺ necks until you have thoroughly subdued them, then bind them firmly.

🔹This verse defines the believer’s stance against disbelief at the climax of war.
When coercion, threats, sanctions, and psy-ops fail, forcing the enemy into open combat, it reveals their desperation to cling to power through means they once feared.

✍🏻 The enemy’s aggression is both a warning and a promise. A warning of open war, and a promise that resisting here will end their game. Their costly military buildup exposes their vulnerability.

➡️ Only fear can sabotage victory now—fear stoked by munāfiqīn (hypocrites) within our ranks, masquerading as "pragmatism" to erode collective resolve.
