🇮🇳 Young Russian compatriots from India share photographs right from the ropeway in Belokurikha resort in Altai, where they went under the "Hello, Russia!" program of Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency. Three schoolchildren of Russian origin, living in India, visited the Altai mountains of the Russian Siberia for the first time.

The Belokurikha resort is famous for its natural healing factors, the uniqueness of which has been scientifically proven. The pride of Belokurikha is thermal mineral radon springs and, of course, amazing air.

🌐 50 young leaders from Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Chile came to Altai under the New Generation program. Among them are athletes, travel bloggers, sports journalists and those who prefer active forms of tourism.

⛰ As part of the White Water of Siberia 2023 International Rafting Forum, participants will raft along the rivers of the Altai Territory and the Altai Republic. Athletes will also get acquainted with the nature and culture of the region. Within 10 days, foreign youth will be able to exchange experiences with each other and discuss topical issues in the field of active tourism.

🚣‍♂️ As a result of the program, preparations will be made for the World Rafting Championship, which will be held in the Altai Republic next year.

🤩Fourth day of the "Hello, Russia!" trip to the Republic of Dagestan was held under the motto "Gunib - the beauty of Dagestan".

On August 9, the participants arrived in the village of Gunib, where they got acquainted with the traditions, culture, life and history of these places.

👍Here, in the ancestral village of the famous poet Rasul Gamzatov, young compatriots visited the Victory Park, the natural monument "Upper Gunib Park" and the local museum of local lore.

And already in the Saltinsky gorge, the participants enjoyed the beauty of a unique gorge with an underground waterfall.

🤩Четвертый день программы «Здравствуй, Россия!» прошел под девизом «Гуниб — краса Дагестана».

9 августа участники приехали в село Гуниб, где познакомились с традициями, культурой, бытом и историей этих мест.

👍Здесь, в родовом селе знаменитого поэта Расула Гамзатова, юные соотечественники посетили Парк Победы, природный памятник «Парк Верхний Гуниб» и местный краеведческий музей.

А уже в Салтинском ущелье участники насладились красотой уникальной теснины с подземным водопадом.

The Sulak Canyon is one of the most visited sights in Dagestan.

The name of the canyon comes from the Sulak River, which flows through the gorge and flows into the Caspian Sea. In the narrowest places even hydroelectric power plants were built.

You can enjoy the beauty of nature from observation platforms. However, it should be noted that it is best to visit the Sulak Canyon in spring and fall. In summer the temperature here reaches up to +40 degrees.

Scientists call this place a geological museum of the whole planet. Along it there are sediments of different historical periods. It is believed that the canyon is tens of millions of years old. It has experienced different historical processes. For example, the ice age, as evidenced by the rocky winding corridors.

According to legend, during the Caucasian War, Russian poets and writers rested here. For example, Leo Tolstoy and Mikhail Lermontov. Tolstoy's story "The Prisoner of the Caucasus" describes the local scenery.

💦Сулакский каньон — одна из самых посещаемых достопримечательностей Дагестана.
Название каньона происходит от реки Сулак, протекающей по ущелью и впадающей в Каспийское море. В наиболее узких местах даже построили гидроэлектростанции.

Его глубина составляет около 1920 метров. Состоит он из трех частей, но четких границ между ними нет. Это Чиркейский, Миатлинский и Сулакский каньоны.

🎓Ученые называют это место геологическим музеем всей планеты. Вдоль него расположены отложения разных исторических периодов. Считается, что каньону десятки миллионов лет. Он пережил разные исторические процессы. Например, ледниковый период, о чем говорят скалистые извилистые коридоры.

По легенде, во время Кавказской войны здесь отдыхали русские поэты и писатели. Например, Лев Толстой и Михаил Лермонтов. В рассказе «Кавказский пленник» Толстого описываются местные пейзажи.

The highest peak of the Caucasus Mountains and at the same time the highest point of Russia and Europe. Elbrus is a dormant volcano, and its last eruption occurred about 900 years ago.

This volcano in Kamchatka, Russian far east, attracted attention in 2012 with its major eruption, which resulted in the formation of new lava flows.

Bezymianny.

Kazbek.

The Bakhchisaray Cave Monastery is one of the oldest and most significant Orthodox shrines in Crimea. It is interesting for its architecture, combining elements of mountain landscape and monastery buildings. Its buildings were carved directly into the rocks, and in the caves monks hold prayers and classes.

At the end of the XV century, it was the main dwelling place of the Metropolitans of Kafa and Gotha. Since its foundation in the XIII-IX centuries, the monastery has become the center of attraction for all Crimean Christians. Many famous rulers visited its territory: Alexander I, Alexander II, Alexandra Fedorovna, Nicholas I and others. 👑

In 1921, it was closed by the Soviet authorities. During the period of universal atheism there was a psychoneurological dispensary. Only in 1993 the monastery was returned to the church.

🛠 Tourists are open to visit only a few objects, the main of which is the Church of the Assumption with a miracle-working icon of the Mother of God. Part of the buildings of the monastery is still under reconstruction. Near the monastery runs a holy spring, where everyone can draw water.

В конце XV века здесь находилось основное место обитания Кафских и Готфских митрополитов. С момента основания в XIII - IX веках монастырь стал центром притяжения всех крымских христиан. На его территории побывало множество известных правителей: Александр I, Александр II, Александра Федоровна, Николай I и другие. 👑

В 1921 году он был закрыт советскими властями. В период всеобщего атеизма там располагался психоневрологический диспансер. Только в 1993 году монастырь вернули церкви.

🛠 Туристам открыты для посещения лишь несколько объектов, главным из которых является Успенский храм с чудотворной иконой Божьей Матери. Часть зданий монастыря до сих пор находится на реконструкции. Рядом с обителью протекает святой источник, где каждый может набрать воды.
