🇮🇳 Indian schoolchildren dived into the Russian culture in Altai 🏔

On 21 July, three Indian participants of the "Hello, Russia!" trip to the Altai Territory visited the art school "Tradition" in Vlasikha village. There, thet have been greated as guests of honor with traditional bread and salt, learned the structure of the Russian wooden house and made small Shrovetide doll - a travel companion to ensure them a good trip.

The visit was organized in the framework of the VII International Festival "Summer Conversations in Altai". Young Russian compatriots from 12 countries of the world learned a couple of folk games.

The "Hello, Russia!" trip organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency helps children from the Russian diaspora of different countries to immerse into the Russian culture and learn a lot about the country through they own experience.

🇮🇳 Индийские школьники погрузились в русскую культуру на Алтае 🏔

21 июля трое индийских участников поездки «Здравствуй, Россия!» в Алтайский край посетили школу искусств «Традиция» в селе Власиха. Там их встретили как почетных гостей традиционным хлебом-солью, знакомили с устройством русской избы и научили делать маленькую масленичную куклу - подорожницу.

Визит в школу искусств организован в рамках VII Международного фестиваля «Летние беседы на Алтае». Юные российские соотечественники из 12 стран мира разучили пару народных игр.

Программа поездок «Здравствуй, Россия!», организованная Федеральным агентством "Россотрудничество", помогает молодым соотечественникам, живущим в разных странах мира, погрузиться в русскую культуру и узнать много нового о России на собственном опыте.

Representatives of state bodies and educational institutions of the Altai Territory met with young Russian compatriots from Australia,  Germany, Israel, India, France and other countries who arrived in the region under the Rossotrudnichestvo project "Hello, Russia!", the press service of the regional government reports.

"Representatives of government agencies and educational institutions of the region met with compatriots as part of the project " Hello, Russia!". These are delegations of 56 young Russian compatriots from 14 to 19 years old from Australia, Belarus, Germany, Israel, India, Spain, Kazakhstan, China, the Netherlands, Serbia, Uganda, France," the statement said.

A warm meeting was organized for the guests in the hall of the Academic Council of the Altai State University.  Yury Zakharov, Head of the Department of the Administration of the Governor and the Government of the Altai Territory for External Relations and Protocol, thanked Rossotrudnichestvo for the opportunity to participate in the project.

"Представители госорганов и учреждений образования края встретились с соотечественниками в рамках проекта "Здравствуй, Россия!". В крае второй день находится делегация из 56 соотечественников, приехавших по программе Россотрудничества. Это ребята от 14 до 19 лет из Австралии, Беларуси, Германии, Израиля, Индии, Испании, Казахстана, Китая, Нидерландов, Сербии, Уганды, Франции, их педагоги", - говорится в сообщении.

В зале ученого совета Алтайского госуниверситета для гостей была организована тёплая встреча. Начальник департамента администрации губернатора и правительства Алтайского края по внешним связям и протоколу Юрий Захаров поблагодарил Россотрудничество за предоставленную краю возможность поучаствовать в проекте.

🌳On the final day, they visited the special economic zone "Turquoise Katun" - the first large complex of natural and extreme tourism in Russia, standing on the fast Siberian mountain river Katun'.

🧀Also, young compatriots visited the Bystryansky Butter and Cheese Plant. This is one of the first cheese-making enterprises in the Altai Territory. Now the guys know how the legendary Altai cheese is made.

🌳В финальный день ребята посетили особую экономическую зону «Бирюзовая Катунь» — первый в России крупный комплекс природного и экстремального туризма, расположенный на быстрой сибирской горной реке Катунь.

🇮🇳 On 19 July, Indian team of children from Bengaluru, Kolkata and Kozhikode demonstrated the elements of yoga, recited a poem in Hindi, showed multiple examples of lexical similarities between Sanskrit, Hindi and Russian languages, ending their presentation with a fiery Bollywod dance.

Children were welcomed by the Russian ensemble from the Altai Territory and learned about the cultures of 12 other countries - #Australia, #Belarus, #China, #Israel, #India, #France, #Kazakhstan, #Uganda, #Spain, #Netherlands, #Serbia and #Germany.

🌐 50 young leaders from Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Chile came to Altai under the New Generation program. Among them are athletes, travel bloggers, sports journalists and those who prefer active forms of tourism.

⛰ As part of the White Water of Siberia 2023 International Rafting Forum, participants will raft along the rivers of the Altai Territory and the Altai Republic. Athletes will also get acquainted with the nature and culture of the region. Within 10 days, foreign youth will be able to exchange experiences with each other and discuss topical issues in the field of active tourism.

🚣‍♂️ As a result of the program, preparations will be made for the World Rafting Championship, which will be held in the Altai Republic next year.

В течение 10 дней иностранная молодежь сможет обменяться друг с другом опытом и обсудить актуальные вопросы в области активного туризма.

🚣‍♂️ По итогам программы будет осуществляться подготовка к проведению Чемпионата мира по рафтингу, который пройдет в республике Алтай в следующем году.

As part of the state program “Providing assistance to the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Altai Krai,” compatriots who previously lived in countries far and near abroad are permanently arriving in the region.

Altai Krai is the largest agricultural region of Russia. It traditionally produces grain, milk, meat, sugar beets, sunflowers, oil flax, fiber flax, hops, rapeseed and soybeans.

The main resort resources of the region are climate (abundance of sun, increased air transparency and high degree of ionization), mineral waters. The leader of the sanatorium-resort complex is the resort town of Belokurikha, where 15 sanatoriums are located. The city of Yarovoye is famous for its healing mud. Salty, alkaline and fresh lakes located in the Zavyalovo village are considered even more unique.

The State program of the Altai Krai “Providing assistance to the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Altai Territory” provides for the resettlement of 5,170 participants of the State program and members of their families to the region.

В рамках государственной программы «Оказание содействия добровольному переселению в Алтайский край соотечественников, проживающих за рубежом» в регион на постоянной основе прибывают соотечественники, проживавшие ранее в странах дальнего и ближнего зарубежья.

Алтайский край является самым крупным аграрным регионом России[. Здесь традиционно производится зерно, молоко, мясо, выращивается сахарная свёкла, подсолнечник, лён масличный, лён-долгунец, хмель, рапс и соя.
Основные курортные ресурсы края — это климат (обилие солнца, повышенная прозрачность воздуха и высокая степень его ионизации), минеральные воды. Лидером санаторно-курортного комплекса является город-курорт Белокуриха, где расположено 15 санаториев. Город Яровое известен лечебными грязями. Еще более уникальными озерами считаются соленое, щелочное и пресные озера, расположенные в с. Завьялово.

Государственной программой Алтайского края «Оказание содействия добровольному переселению в Алтайский край соотечественников, проживающих за рубежом», предусмотрено переселение в регион 5170 участников Государственной программы и членов их семей.
