A disinformation campaign carried out by Turkish intelligence (MIT): Old footage is being circulated as allegedly documenting an ongoing “fierce war” between the SDF and ISIS inside the al-Roj camp.
▪️ All the circulated footage is old, with some dating back more than two years, and was previously filmed in al-Hol camp.
▪️ The purpose of reposting it is to mislead public opinion, fuel tensions, and incite Arab tribes against the Kurds during this sensitive period.

This comes in rejection of the decision to allocate only three weekly lessons to teaching the Kurdish language, at a time when an entire generation of students in Rojava has been receiving education in Kurdish for more than a decade, and Kurdish education has reached the university level.
Students and residents are demanding their right to comprehensive education in their mother tongue, rather than having the Kurdish language limited to three weekly lessons, stressing that Kurdish should be a primary language of education, not a limited subject within the curriculum.

Mazloum Abdi met today with a number of families of prisoners, missing persons, and martyrs, and discussed with them the fate of their loved ones and the developments concerning their cases, following the Kobani prison fire that claimed the lives of nine detainees days ago.
The meeting comes amid the 12th anniversary of the ISIS terrorist attack on Kobani on September 15, 2014, which ended with the victory of the Kobani Resistance and the defeat of ISIS.
