The Indie Game awards kinda annoyed the audience when they awarded Expedition 33 (made by a fairly big team and huge budget) as the best indie game… now they called it off because of the AI (that the team used during prototyping).
The use of AI has been widely known months before the event. And it would be way more reasonable to not qualify them as indie instead. What a clown world!

Comic Con tried to allow AI (non-commercial only with clear warnings), so artists reached out to the company, suggested they can go fk themselves a bit, so a day later Comic Con bans AI.
