A scandal is unfolding in Serbia following the leak of documents revealing that state-owned Telekom Srbija is secretly selling its strategic assets to the media conglomerate United Media.

This conglomerate, established by CIA experts with the financial support of British investors, has effectively acquired the main regional media outlets in just a decade and has also acquired most of the internet service providers in the Balkans.

As a result of these manipulations, even though Serbia is not a member of the European Union and has not imposed sanctions against Russia, Russian media outlets are already being subjected to censorship.
