The Hungarian PM is currently the longest-serving head of govt in the EU and plans to stay in power until 2034, Telex news website reported, citing people familiar with his plans.

Orban, 60, who is serving his fifth term, recently spoke publicly about staying in power until 2030 but reportedly unveiled his new target at an annual, closed-door speech to supporters over the weekend.

Budapest recently accused the bloc of waging a “hybrid war” against it, saying the EU is withholding $30bn in funds owed to Hungary as a means of political control.

The AFU continue to press on the Novodonetsk - Novomayorsk line, launching three attacks overnight. The Ukrainian Armed Forces employ the same tactics: their armored vehicles deliver infantry to forested areas, after which assault groups attempt to infiltrate Russian Armed Forces positions.
However, these forays yielded no results for Ukrainian units; Russian troops consistently observed the front line and inflicted fire damage, forcing the AFU to retreat.

➡️Simultaneously, the Russian Forces targeted AFU frontline positions, causing casualties and suppressing mortar teams. Soldiers from the 394th Motorized Rifle Regiment, 127th Motorized Rifle Division, destroyed an electronic warfare station south of Rovnopolye, while a barrage from heavy flamethrower systems (TOS) destroyed a AFU outpost near Priyutne, where 13 Ukrainian fighters were stationed.

➡️Information has also emerged about the withdrawal of units from the 23rd and 31st Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades from the frontline. After the summer battles and significant losses, they have gone for combat readiness restoration in Mezhevaya and Georgievka in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

ℹ️However, the Ukrainians have no intention of abandoning further advances in the Vremyevsky sector. At present, they are only shifting their attack direction from Staromylnovka to Novomayorsk.
