Meet Candace Carlisle, the #GeoXO Flight Project Manager!

#DidYouKnow: There are fewer women majoring and working in computer science now than in the 1980’s, when Candace went to college? Time to change that!

After @NOAA's #GOESU 🛰️ launches this summer, our eyes will be focused on @NOAA's #GeoXO mission!

Onboard GeoXO will be The Atmospheric Composition Instrument (ACX), a critical tool for #AirQuality. Last week, the ACX science team met to explore how satellite data, like that from NASA's #TEMPO, can improve #AirQuality monitoring and forecasting to help protect human health.

When @NOAA's #GOESU launches this summer, it will be the last satellite in our GOES-R series... But that's not where NOAA's satellite observations will end!

We're getting ready for the Geostationary Extended Observations mission! Launching in the early 2030s, #GeoXO will include the Atmospheric Composition instrument (ACX), which will provide critical air quality data about Earth’s atmosphere. 🌎🌬️☁️
