🌞 Suzdal has managed to preserve the charm of antiquity, the unique spirit of Slavic traditions and the ineffable aura of holy places. It has become a real open-air museum: there are about 200 ancient monuments here. We are going to tell you why you should visit the city and what to see.

🏰 Suzdal Kremlin
The Kremlin has been preserved since the X century. There are churches and the ensemble of the Bishop's Court with the Nativity Cathedral. And in the building of the Hierarch's Chambers there are eight halls with expositions. Here you can admire ancient icons and paintings, feel the atmosphere of the XVIII century, visit the reconstructed Zemsky school and visit the provincial fair.

🛖 Museum of Wooden Architecture and Peasant Life
When visiting the museum you will be transported to a real Russian village. Here you can see everyday objects of peasants of Vladimir province, visit thematic expositions and take part in traditional festivals and holidays. On the territory of the museum there are 18 monuments of wooden architecture dating back to the XVIII-XIX centuries. Many exhibits presented here were built exclusively with the help of an axe.

⛪️ Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery of Men
The monastery was built in 1352 as a men's monastery and a fortress for the defense of the city. Now it works as a museum complex and services are no longer held there. In St. Nicholas Church and other buildings with expositions are kept the rarest finds of XII-XVII centuries: ancient books, jewelry, unique iconostasis, products in the technique of casting. You can also admire the XVI century frescoes and wall paintings in the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Savior.

🌞 Суздаль сумел сохранить очарование древности, неповторимый дух славянских традиций и непередаваемую ауру святых мест. Он стал настоящим музеем под открытым небом: здесь находится около 200 памятников старины. Рассказываем, почему стоит посетить город и что посмотреть.

🏰 Суздальский кремль
Кремль сохранился с X века. Здесь расположены церкви и ансамбль архиерейского двора с Рождественским собором. А в здании Архиерейских палат представлены восемь залов с экспозициями. Здесь можно полюбоваться древними иконами и живописью, ощутить атмосферу XVIII века, посетить реконструированную Земскую школу и побывать на губернской ярмарке.

🛖 Музей деревянного зодчества и крестьянского быта
При посещении музея вы перенесётесь в настоящую русскую деревню. Здесь вы сможете увидеть предметы быта крестьян Владимирской губернии, посетить тематические экспозиции и поучаствовать в традиционных фестивалях, праздниках. На территории музея расположено 18 памятников деревянного зодчества, датируемых XVIII-XIX веками. Многие экспонаты, представленные здесь, были построены исключительно с помощью топора.

⛪️ Спасо-Евфимиев мужской монастырь
Монастырь был построен в 1352 году как мужская обитель и крепость для защиты города. Сейчас он работает как музейный комплекс и службы в нём уже не проводят. В Никольской церкви и других корпусах с экспозициями хранятся редчайшие находки XII-XVII веков: древние книги, украшения, уникальный иконостас, изделия в технике литья. Также здесь можно полюбоваться фресками XVI века и росписью стен в Спасо-Преображенском соборе.
