☀️ The journey of young Russian compatriots through sunny Dagestan has ended as part of the Hello, Russia! program.

⛰ The final day of the participants' stay in Dagestan was dedicated to one of the oldest existing cities in Russia - Derbent. The children visited the architectural and archaeological complex "Citadel Naryn-Kala".

🏛 In the historical quarters of Old Derbent, the guys were inspired by the ancient unique history, the spirit of these legendary places.

⛴ At the end of the day, young compatriots visited the parking lot of a unique artifact of the Soviet past - the strike missile-carrier-ekranoplan "Lun", which is located on the picturesque coast of the Caspian Sea.

☀️ Завершилось путешествие юных соотечественников по солнечному Дагестану в рамках программы «Здравствуй, Россия!».

⛰ Финальный день пребывания участников в Дагестане посвящен одному из древнейших из ныне существующих городов России — Дербенту. Ребята посетили архитектурно-археологический комплекс «Цитадель Нарын-кала».

🏛 В исторических кварталах Старого Дербента ребята вдохновились древней уникальной историей, духом этих легендарных мест.

⛴ В конце дня юные соотечественники побывали на месте стоянки уникального артефакта советского прошлого — ударного ракетоносца-экраноплана «Лунь», который расположен на живописном берегу Каспийского моря.

🌳Gorokhovets is one of the most ancient and perfectly preserved cities in Russia. It is located in the Vladimir region and is included not only in the register of Russian cities, the monuments of which are of particular value, but also in the preliminary list of UNESCO cultural heritage sites.

✔️What to see in Gorokhovets?
The architecture of Gorokhovets strikes with the charm of the provincial modern of the 17th century - buildings, houses and merchants' chambers, that's what is really worth seeing in the city! - no exclamation. There are about 200 merchant chambers of that time in Russia, and seven of them have been preserved in Gorokhovets.

For example, almost opposite the Annunciation Cathedral, near the gates of the Sretensky Monastery, there is the house of the merchant Ershov. This two-storey house is the oldest in the city: its construction dates back to around 1660. At that time it was the largest building in all of Gorokhovets.

The city is full of old buildings that can be explored endlessly, but you can get around Gorokhovets in less than a day, it is so small and cozy, but even this time is enough to enjoy the architecture and personal history of the old Russian town💫

Например, практически напротив Благовещенского собора, поблизости от ворот Сретенского монастыря располагается дом купца Ершова. Этот двухэтажный дом является старейшим в городе: его строительство датируется приблизительно 1660-м годом. На тот момент это был самый масштабный дом во всём Гороховце.

Vodlozersky Park
Vodlozersky Park is located near Pudozh, the area is about 468 thousand hectares. There are many archaeological monuments on its territory, including the sites of ancient people from the Mesolithic period and petroglyphs (rock paintings).

Svyato-Ilinsky pogost
According to legend, the pogost was built on the site of a pagan temple and has been known since 1592. The example of wooden architecture of the 16th century is located on the island of Maly Kolgostrov on the territory of Vodlozero Park and is open for tourists.

"Besov Nos"
This is a cape on the coast of Lake Onega, known for its many petroglyphs. Their age is not less than five thousand years. The size of drawings can reach 2.5 meters. The most unusual is a demon with a humanoid figure, square head, very thin neck and small curved limbs. A mystery is the Orthodox cross on his left arm. It is believed to be a later image painted by monks.

Водлозерский парк

Свято-Ильинский погост

«Бесов Нос»
Это мыс на побережье Онежского озера, известное множеством петроглифов. Их возраст не менее пяти тысяч лет. Размеры рисунков могут достигать 2.5 метров. Самым необычным является бес с человекоподобной фигурой, квадратной головой, очень тонкой шеей и мелкими искривленными конечностями. Загадкой является православный крест на его левой руке. Принято считать, что это более позднее изображение, нанесенное монахами.
