📆 From August 20 to 26, students from the Indian school "Gurukul The School" visited Moscow as part of a cultural exchange at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
🏙 As part of the cultural program, the Indian delegation visited the historical and cultural landmarks of the Russian capital, including the Kremlin, Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the Victory Museum.
📎 During of the cultural exchange, schoolchildren from India also took part in the III International Children's Cultural Forum, where they performed a series of traditional Indian dances and musical pieces. Their performances became a vivid manifestation of Indian culture, highly appreciated by the audience.
📚 According to the Indian schoolchildren, thanks to the visit to Russia, they acquired a deeper understanding of the country and became more closely acquainted with Russian culture and traditions, as well as its rich centuries-old history.

This weekend, Moscow celebrates its anniversary. Founded in 1147, it combines rich historical heritage and modern dynamism. One of the most recognizable symbols of Moscow and Russia for foreigners is St.Basil's Cathedral on Red Square.
This is a functioning Orthodox cathedral, a museum, a protected UNESCO heritage site. Also known as Pokrovsky Cathedral, it was the tallest building of the city until the year 1600.
The bright, "gingerbread" domes of the cathedral attract attention first of all. However, the symbolic meaning of such coloring, which must be, remains a mystery.

239 works from 21 countries were submitted to the competition in 2024 - 50 teachers from 19 countries became laureates.
The award ceremony was attended by the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi, the Minister of the Government of Moscow, the head of the Moscow City Department of the Russian Federation Sergey Cheremin, the Director of the Moscow City Department of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozhaev.
Sergey Cheremin: "We are proud that you, teachers specializing in Russian, are raising children in the great traditions of Pushkin"
Russian as a language of interethnic communication allows Moscow to be one of the most competitive megacities in the world, the head of the Moscow City Department of the Russian Federation added.
Moscow is ready to continue to support Russian-language schools, the Director of the Moscow City Department of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozhaev assured the laureates.
A rich program was prepared for the laureates: the experts discussed the situation of the Russian language in their countries during a round table, got acquainted with the Moscow education system, visited the Maly Theater and the main attractions of the capital.
Organizers - the Government of Moscow together with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

🔴The leader of the 42.2 km Moscow Marathon was Moroccan runner Youness Benard. He ran the route in 2 hours 11 minutes 34 seconds. This is the best time in the history of the competition, which has been held in the capital since 2013.
❗️Moroccan El Mahjoub Dazza came in second. He lost to his compatriot by only 4 seconds. Russian Dmitry Nedelin was in the top three - +6 seconds to the leader's time.
🔴The Moscow Marathon passed through the central streets of the city. In total, about 40 thousand runners from Russia and neighboring and distant countries registered for the races, which is a competition record.
