Specialists of the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" have created an alternative electric power engineering device - a battery that is charged due to the vital activity of cyanobacteria living in water.
The battery is a compact, thin, lightweight and environmentally friendly device. Only light and water are required for its autonomous operation for several hours.
