Representatives of state bodies and educational institutions of the Altai Territory met with young Russian compatriots from Australia,  Germany, Israel, India, France and other countries who arrived in the region under the Rossotrudnichestvo project "Hello, Russia!", the press service of the regional government reports.

"Representatives of government agencies and educational institutions of the region met with compatriots as part of the project " Hello, Russia!". These are delegations of 56 young Russian compatriots from 14 to 19 years old from Australia, Belarus, Germany, Israel, India, Spain, Kazakhstan, China, the Netherlands, Serbia, Uganda, France," the statement said.

A warm meeting was organized for the guests in the hall of the Academic Council of the Altai State University.  Yury Zakharov, Head of the Department of the Administration of the Governor and the Government of the Altai Territory for External Relations and Protocol, thanked Rossotrudnichestvo for the opportunity to participate in the project.

"Представители госорганов и учреждений образования края встретились с соотечественниками в рамках проекта "Здравствуй, Россия!". В крае второй день находится делегация из 56 соотечественников, приехавших по программе Россотрудничества. Это ребята от 14 до 19 лет из Австралии, Беларуси, Германии, Израиля, Индии, Испании, Казахстана, Китая, Нидерландов, Сербии, Уганды, Франции, их педагоги", - говорится в сообщении.

В зале ученого совета Алтайского госуниверситета для гостей была организована тёплая встреча. Начальник департамента администрации губернатора и правительства Алтайского края по внешним связям и протоколу Юрий Захаров поблагодарил Россотрудничество за предоставленную краю возможность поучаствовать в проекте.

Young Russian compatriots from India unfurled the national flag in the Altai mountains 🇷🇺 🇮🇳

The delegates travel around the Altai Territory of Russia along with their mates from #Australia, #Belarus, #France, the #Netherlands, #Israel, #China, #Germany, #Serbia, #Kazakhstan, #Spain and #Uganda.

The journey to Altai comes within the "Hello, Russia!" project of educational trips to Russia for the young compatriots living abroad, implemented by the Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo.

Thh journey of the Indian team to the Altai Territory 🏔 under the program "Hello, Russia!" has come to an end

Over the past weekend, the children got acquainted with traditional Russian culture and customs by participating in craft workshops, folk games and dances. The children visited to the events of the All-Russian festival "Shukshin Days in Altai" with a visit to the memorial museum of a Soviet writer, actor and film director Vasily Shukshin.

The culmination of the extensive excursion program was the ropeway ascent as part of the acquaintance of young compatriots with the mountain resort town of Belokurikha. According to the statement on a little matchbox from the resort, matches will warm up your body, but Belokurikha - your soul.

✈️ Now, our team is in Moscow and ready to return back to India 🇷🇺 🇮🇳, keeping the warmth of Altai and their new friends in their hearts.

Путешествие команды Индии в Алтайский край 🏔 в рамках программы «Здравствуй, Россия!» подошло к концу

В минувшие выходные дети познакомились с традиционной русской культурой и обычаями, приняли участие в мастер-классах, народных играх и танцах. Ребята побывали на мероприятиях Всероссийского фестиваля «Шукшинские дни на Алтае» с посещением мемориального музея советского писателя, актера и кинорежиссера Василия Шукшина.

Кульминацией обширной экскурсионной программы стал подъем по канатной дороге в рамках знакомства юных соотечественников с горным городом-курортом Белокуриха. По утверждению на спичечном коробке, спички согреют тело, а Белокуриха - душу.

✈️Сейчас наша команда в Москве и готова вернуться обратно в Индию 🇷🇺 🇮🇳, сохраняя в своих сердцах тепло Алтая и своих новых друзей со всего света.

🇷🇺 Participants of the program "Hello, Russia!" from 12 countries, including India 🇮🇳, completed a trip to the Altai Territory

🌳On the final day, they visited the special economic zone "Turquoise Katun" - the first large complex of natural and extreme tourism in Russia, standing on the fast Siberian mountain river Katun'.

🧀Also, young compatriots visited the Bystryansky Butter and Cheese Plant. This is one of the first cheese-making enterprises in the Altai Territory. Now the guys know how the legendary Altai cheese is made.

🌳В финальный день ребята посетили особую экономическую зону «Бирюзовая Катунь» — первый в России крупный комплекс природного и экстремального туризма, расположенный на быстрой сибирской горной реке Катунь.

🧀Также юные соотечественники побывали на Быстрянском маслосырзаводе. Это одно из первых сыродельных предприятий в Алтайском крае. Теперь ребята знают, как готовят легендарный алтайский сыр.

🌐 50 young leaders from Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Chile came to Altai under the New Generation program. Among them are athletes, travel bloggers, sports journalists and those who prefer active forms of tourism.

⛰ As part of the White Water of Siberia 2023 International Rafting Forum, participants will raft along the rivers of the Altai Territory and the Altai Republic. Athletes will also get acquainted with the nature and culture of the region. Within 10 days, foreign youth will be able to exchange experiences with each other and discuss topical issues in the field of active tourism.

🚣‍♂️ As a result of the program, preparations will be made for the World Rafting Championship, which will be held in the Altai Republic next year.
