In 2023 the international educational campaign of the Russian Geographical Society Geographical Dictation will be held for the ninth time. A few years ago, we began to prepare it with the help of people who are passionate about geography, not only professional scientists. Since then, every year more than half of the tasks are created by participants in our competitions.

Russia has sent a mobile multidisciplinary hospital, 15 tons of medicines, medical equipment and basic necessities to Syria to help victims after the earthquake.

In the coming days, a multidisciplinary team of doctors will be sent to the country: surgeons, traumatologists, anesthesiologists, infectious disease specialists, ultrasound diagnostics doctors, average medical staff.

Humanitarian aid was collected by the Russian Ministry of Health together with the Syrian Embassy in Moscow.

Россия направила в Сирию мобильный многопрофильный госпиталь, 15 тонн медикаментов, медицинского оборудования и предметов первой необходимости для помощи пострадавшим после землетрясения.

В ближайшие дни в страну будет направлена мультидисциплинарная бригада медиков: хирурги, травматологи, анестезиологи, инфекционисты, врачи УЗИ-диагностики, средний медперсонал.

Гуманитарная помощь собрана Минздравом России совместно с сирийским посольством в Москве.

On March 1, the EMERCOM of Russia handed over 40 units of Russian-made fire trucks to Kyrgyzstan. Unique heavy class fire trucks on the KamAZ-43118 chassis with a 6x6 wheel arrangement have increased cross-country ability. The volume of the tank is 6 m³. The technical characteristics of fire trucks make it possible to effectively fight fire in difficult climatic conditions.
The equipment was made specifically for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan. Russian manufacturers took into account the wishes of foreign colleagues based on the typical dimensions of fire stations, the height of automobile bridges, as well as operating conditions and maintenance opportunities on the territory of a neighboring state.
Until the end of the year, it is planned to supply the Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter complete with a VSU-5A spillway from Russia to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan. This is a multi-purpose aircraft that allows delivering rescuers and cargo to hard-to-reach areas, as well as extinguishing natural and man-made fires of varying complexity.

1 марта МЧС России передало Киргизии 40 единиц пожарных автоцистерн российского производства. Уникальные пожарные автомобили тяжелого класса на шасси КамАЗ-43118 с колесной формулой 6х6 обладают повышенной проходимостью. Объем цистерны – 6 м³. Технические характеристики пожарных автомобилей позволяют эффективно бороться с огнем в сложных климатических условиях.
Техника изготовлена специально для МЧС Киргизии. Российские производители учли пожелания зарубежных коллег из расчета типовых размеров пожарных депо, высоты автомобильных мостов, а также условий эксплуатации и возможностей технического обслуживания на территории сопредельного государства.
До конца года из России для МЧС Киргизии планируется поставить вертолет Ми-8МТВ-1 в комплекте с водосливным устройством ВСУ-5А. Это многоцелевое воздушное судно, которое позволяет доставлять спасателей и грузы в труднодоступные районы, а также тушить природные и техногенные пожары различной сложности.
