📝 The main source of information was official documents and reports. Peter I actively participated in the preparation of Vedomosti, supervising materials and choosing topics for publications, relying on official documents and reports.
📰 The number of printed publications grew rapidly - by the end of the 19th century, more than three thousand periodicals were published in Russia. The number of large daily socio-political newspapers, not counting the provincial official Vedomosti, exceeded 200 titles. Today, the Roskomnadzor registry contains data on more than 155,000 media outlets.
🌟 Since 2005, Russian government awards have been presented annually to journalists who have achieved significant success in print media. In 2013, an award was established for figures from all media in connection with the development of technology.
