"... мы столкнулись с нереальным по своим масштабом наводнением в Маскате - повреждены здания, затопило машины, погибли животные, пострадавшие люди в домах отрезаны от инфраструтуры - они элементарно не могут выйти за продуктами!! , получить медицинскую помощь... Десятки тысяч людей... 🤦‍♂️ Что-то похожее я видел в Омане в 2020 году, но в 2021 это что-то из ряда вон выходящее...

Так получилось, что в это время мы запускали доставку посылок дронами совместно с почтовыми службами. Все было отлично, но из головы не уходила мысль, что мы можем помочь людям спасти их жизни, делая доставки хотя бы медикаментов в сложных условиях... Оперативно связались с полицией, госпиталями и Министерством Транспорта, отправили запросы. И на следующей день... к нам обратились (я лично не ожидал!), в течение 5 МИНУТ КАРЛ согласовали полёты дронов UVL. Сделали поздним вечером первую доставку с автоматическим выбросом медикаментов в конкретную зону. Люди были счастливы, это самое главное. Дальше больше.

UVL Robotics successfully completed test delivery of parcels by drones in Skolkovo

Our drones made their first flight on the territory of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. The flight was coordinated with the State Corporation for Air Traffic Management of the Russian Federation with the arrangement of a temporary regime. The parcel was delivered automatically along a test route (about 1 km). The tests were carried out as a part of the first stage of the Urban Air Mobility zone project, when flights are carried out in the general order of using airspace. At the first stages, it is planned to develop a regulatory, technical and regulatory framework for the operation of drones in urban infrastructure conditions. The UVL Robotics’ team begins negotiations concerning the deployment of a test system of fixed-spots for delivery.

It is important to emphasize that the drone, designed for operation in hot climates, coped well with the volatile Moscow winter weather. 👍❄️❄️❄️

More than 200 meters above the sea: the UVL Robotics drones are disruptive innovation in delivery

Our team made a fully automatic drone-based delivery of a package, weighing up to 3 kg with a total mission distance of more than 15 km. The drone’s maximum speed was 55 km/h, the flight altitude reached 210 meters above sea level.

Despite the complexity of the flight (the wind speed reached 15 meters per second) drone-based delivery was successfully completed. The facts speak for themselves. Drones are able to cover the route over the mountains, serpentine roads and seas to deliver the package to hard-to-reach areas in a short time. Such a mission is impossible for an ordinary courier.

This is the best evidence that the UVL Robotics drones don’t know any barriers on their way, they are totally safe and fast.

This week day-to-day commercial drone-based delivery will start in Oman…
