🤝 Diplomatic relations between our countries were established on April 13, 1947, even before the official proclamation of India's independence.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 In recent years, Russian-Indian relations have reached a new level and are characterized as the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership. Our countries actively cooperate in political, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural spheres, as well as within international organizations, including the UN, BRICS, and SCO.

Over the years of independence, the Indian nation has reached significant success in the economic, scientific, technical and social areas, preserving its strong identity based on the centuries-long history and rich cultural heritage.

India enjoys well-deserved authority in the world arena, playing a major constructive role in international affairs.
