He suggested to have not only political but also other initiatives from different spheres. For example, countries can make an initiative to create new tech development zones. Moreover, he said that bilateral relations should be the focus of BRICS. For example, Russia can mediate in discussing issues between India and China. Brazil and South Africa can also take part in resolving any bilateral relations.

Expert: Veronica KHRANEKO, Head of Events and Educational Projects for Alumni, Moscow School of Management Skolkovo, had a master class to teach participants how to distinguish communication specifics. She compared communication with dancing: it had no hierarchy, strong control, and competition. She also mentioned communication barriers, such as distraction, different cognitive biases, antipathy, selective perception, and need of attention — all of them should be avoided to keep a fruitful communication. Veronica also gave advices about online communication and networking. For instance, to manage your networking you should visit professional events, keep in touch with your “weak connections”, introduce yourself in 30 seconds for the first time, and share your contacts via social media.

Программа проводится на ежегодной основе Национальным комитетом по исследованию БРИКС при консультационной поддержке Министерства иностранных дел Российской Федерации с целью расширить пул молодых экспертов-БРИКСологов для формирования кадрового резерва и дальнейшего развития молодежного трека взаимодействия в рамках БРИКС.
В 2022 г. программа проводится при поддержке Фонда президентских грантов, Фонда поддержки публичной дипломатии им. А.М. Горчакова и фонда «Русский мир».

The researcher also told participants what the African government did to face the economical problems. “Government makes massive infrastructure investments to stimulate economic growth. Moreover, they are improving bureaucracy to make the business work smoother and make the license process easier. Finally, the government restemulates yellow economy, especially by raising agriculture”, said researcher.

Ekaterina also shared the information about possible African-Russian routes for the partnership. “Energy sector, space sector, agricultural sector — all of these fields can be the routes for cooperation”, said the expert.

Some of the tips are: to explore the language preferences in your discipline and target journal, try to avoid Passive Voice use strong verbs avoid wordiness, make your paragraphs focused (one paragraph = one topic) and write no more than 20 words for each sentence.
