Sony Music, Aniplex, and Pocketpair Announce Joint Venture, Palworld Entertainment, Inc., to Expand the Breakout Game, Palworld
#Sony Music Entertainment Japan (SMEJ), Aniplex, and Pocketpair have established a joint venture, #Palworld Entertainment Inc., to expand business related to the hit game "Palworld." Released in early 2024, "Palworld" is a multiplayer open-world survival game with over 25 million players. The JV aims to develop and commercialize "Palworld" IP, starting with exclusive merchandise debuting at Bilibili World 2024 in Shanghai. "Palworld" features elements of battle, monster-capturing, training, and base building, and is available on PC and #Xbox platforms.
