🔴A reindeer herder's day was recently held in Yamal.🦌 It is always a very colourful event. It is always a very colourful event! Reindeer breeder's wife-2023 fashion show 😊, reindeer racing and a bunch more competitions in speed, marksmanship, wit...
By the way, did you know what a deflated wheel looks like on Yamal? You can see it in photo 2 in the harness on the left.
I was in Salekhard, on Yamal in summer. The scenery there is amazing! The tundra up to the horizon and a straight highway like in westerns).
And huge river Ob', more than 2 km long in this place, which divides Salekhard and the town, which name for the Westerners (except maybe for Scandinavians) is, terrible Labytnangi). The ferry takes about 20 minutes to reach the opposite shore. Come, you won't regret it!)

🔴 Russia 🇷🇺, Kazan, "Tugan Avylym"

The Tatar village "Tugan Avylym", located in the centre of Kazan, combines the advantages of an ethnographic open-air museum and an entertainment centre. Residents and guests of the city have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rural atmosphere and learn about everyday life and folk crafts without travelling outside the metropolis.
In my opinion - a wonderful place to tune in to the beautiful and calm down.
And this is Russia too).

🔴 Ethno parks are popular in Russia. Places where you can get acquainted with the local people's history and culture.
In the Moscow region there is the Ethnomir ethnopark, in Kamchatka there is the ethnocentre in Esso, in Yamal there is the ethno-settlement Gornoknyazevsk.
In the North there is an ethnopark "Karelia - the land of the ancients"
Another place for rest from the noise of cities and quiet reflection.
In this wonderful place you can look at the life and peculiarities of the peoples who once lived on the lands of Karelia and on the shores of Lake Ladoga.
Look at the luxurious apartments there! 😁
But they are so soulfully decorated and bring harmony with nature and forest soothing energy.
Good forest dreams to everyone!

🔴 Today we will introduce you to another part of our multinational Russia.
Russia, Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan

The Old Tatar Sloboda emerged after the conquest of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible, when the Tatar population was settled outside the city walls, on the left shore of Lake Kaban.

Initially, the sloboda was just a crooked street, but over time it became more and more like one of the settlements of the Middle East, with a labyrinth of narrow alleys and dead ends.

Most dwellings in Tatar slobodas were built of wood, sometimes with a brick semi-basement. The buildings were built in the form of closed neighbourhoods according to the Eastern tradition.

🔴 Teams from Russia became champions of the International Snow and Ice Festival in China

Russians took all three prizes. Gold went to a team from Troitsk for a composition called "Morning Fishing". The description of the sculpture was prophetic: "Effort and hard work will pay off, and patience and strategy will lead to success".

The second place was won by masters from Yakutia for the composition with a girl, a reindeer and Chyshaan - the Yakut spirit of cold, and the third place was won by a team from Vladivostok with the sculpture "Autumn". A total of 30 teams from seven countries took part in the competition.

🔴 Dagestan never ceases to amaze! High-mountain villages are built in places where it is even scary to walk. And people used to live there. But waking up in a house with such a view is just wonderful, I checked! 😉 And in the evening you look into the valley and there are lights of other villages and a huge, starry southern sky overhead! It's a magical state of mind!
Beautiful mountain dreams to everyone!

Gamsutl, Dagestan.

🔴 I really liked the song Polina Gagarina performed at Eurovision. Now she performed at the opening of the World Youth Festival in Sochi. A very kind song about unity and love! And in general, the atmosphere there was friendly. I wish everyone good dreams of a beautiful united world!

🔴 How Buddhists meet Sagaalgan?

Just recently, on March 1 came Sagaalgan - a holiday that in Mongolian countries is called the "White Month". This day is not just another Saturday - it is the moment when a new cycle of life has begun, and everything on this day was dedicated to renewal, purification and, of course, fun.

The holiday coincides with the penultimate day of Maslenitsa, which in Russia is called "Zolovkin's Sitting". Young wives would prepare a festive dinner for their husbands' sisters to strengthen relations with their relatives. In Sagaalgan, too, it is customary to welcome guests with generous treats, but here it is not pancakes, but, for example, white milk food.

🔴 There are many peoples living in Russia and each has its own beautiful cultural traditions and house forms. Here and in the Republic of Tyva they have built an excellent ethno-cultural complex.

There is a popular opinion that there is nothing to do in Tyva: it's all steppes. I will introduce you to one place and debunk this myth.

The “Aldyn-Bulak” or “Golden Arrow” complex was opened more than 10 years ago. It was filled to the brim with local color even in the layout. Everything according to the feng shui: seven yurts were placed surrounded by four, and a huge restaurant in the middle. In addition, the valley of the Ulug-Khem River - aka Yenisei, picturesque hills and replicas of archeological finds of Scythian burials.

🔴An unusual tourist spot has appeared on Lake Baikal.
The Yeti Station restaurant was built right on the lake ice.

There are three panoramic tents (which look like yurts or space stations), an ice bar and beautiful ethnic installations.

You can taste local food not only in the warmth, but also by the fire, and drink at the ice bar.

At night, the art space lights up with magical lights, and it seems that you are in the parking lot of an alien spaceship.

Nearby, at the skating rink, you can skate and play hockey. The ice is cleaned daily.

Dinner is available by appointment only, but you can always come in and take a couple selfies.

🔴 I suggest that before going to bed we take a walk through the beautiful ancient places in the Caucasus Mountains.
Erzi: ancestral heritage and legends of a great people

In the picturesque Jeyrakh gorge there is one of the most ancient tower structures of Ingushetia - Erzi. Now Erzi is a state natural reserve. About 100 structures have been preserved on an area of more than 60 hectares: combat and dwelling towers, temples, crypts and sanctuaries.

🔴 There are a lot of peoples in Russia and many traditions of celebrating the New Year. For example, in the Far North, it is celebrated on the day of the summer solstice.

Even New Year on the banks of the Dukcha River.

In Magadan, they celebrated Hebdenek - the New Year according to the calendar of the Evens - the indigenous population of the region. The guests of the holiday touched the culture and traditions of the ancient northern people: from ritual dances and dishes of national cuisine, to the exhibition of authentic crafts "Nyolten".

🔴 There are many places with the atmosphere of medieval Europe In the Kaliningrad region. We will visit one of them now.
What does the most unusual coffee shop in the Kaliningrad region look like?

Imagine: you are drinking freshly brewed coffee in the tower right on the old German lock! This is a small but incredibly atmospheric place right in the middle of the Masurian Canal. The coffee shop overlooks the old canal.
