We have a common vision of problems persisting in the international arena. Our shared desire is to coordinate our actions at the #UN and on the Eurasian continent with such organisations as the #EAEU and #ASEAN, and more globally, to cooperate with the #BRICS countries.
Our colleagues from Central Asia are interested in promoting cooperation on information security and the fight against organised crime and drug trafficking in the SCO space. We think it is important to establish relevant divisions and let them be coordinated by the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure.
There is an understanding that the role of national currencies in settlements between SCO members should be increased. Practices currently taking shape within the Eurasian Development Bank, the Asian Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the BRICS New Development Bank could be used for this purpose.

Today, we came to terms on reaffirming the SCO-Afghanistan Contact Group. This group exists, although it has been some time since it met. One of the reasons is the Talibanโs status. Thus far, it is not recognised โde jure.โ We are expecting the Taliban leaders to fulfill their promises on forming an inclusive government not only in terms of ethnic groups but also by ensuring the presence of the entire spectrum of Afghanistanโs political forces. This has yet to be done.
There is convincing evidence to the effect that the US supports the terrorist groups entrenched in the territory of Afghanistan that are opposed to the Taliban, including the Islamic State, the Islamic Movement of East Turkestan, and Al-Qaeda. The Americans have not abandoned their attempts to reintroduce US military infrastructure in the region surrounding Afghanistan, in Central Asia.
Everyone is well aware of the serious threat inherent in these attempts. We will resolutely oppose them.

After the Black Sea Initiative was concluded in 2022, #Russia numerous times patiently agreed to prolong it despite the fact that the Russian part of it has never been implemented. It has also become clear that the Westโs blatant sabotage of the letter andโฆ
The Russia-#UN Memorandum on the promotion of Russian food products and fertilisers to world markets โ an indispensable part of the package โ has never really worked to a large degree due to the American and the #EUโs rampant sanctions campaign. A number of systematic objectives envisaged by the above MoU have not been implemented till today:
โThe Russian agricultural bank โRosselkhozbankโ has not been reconnected to the SWIFT system;
โ Agricultural machinery, spare parts and any relevant equipment supplies for the production of farm products and fertilisers in Russia have not been resumed and are still banned as imports of โdual-purposeโ goods;
โThe Western illegitimate unilateral restrictions on Russian cargo vessels insurance, reinsurance and access to foreign ports have not been lifted;
โForeign accounts of Russian agricultural companies and the ones involved into the production and transportation have not been unblocked and are still frozen;
โThe operation of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline after it had been blown up by Ukrainians on June 5, 2023 has not been restored.
In fact, we witnessed a commercialization of an initially humanitarian initiative. Out of 32.8 million tonnes of cargo exported under the Initiative:
โผ almost 80% (26.3 million tonnes) was shipped to countries with high and higher than average income, including the EU;
โผ only 3% (922,094 tonnes) โ to the low-income countries โ Ethiopia, Yemen, #Afghanistan, Sudan and Somalia.
Given that significant portion of the Ukrainian arable land (over 17 million hectares) is owned by the American corporations such as Cargill, DuPont and Monsanto, one would be critically wrong to think that the entire scenario does not benefit the #USA and the EU.
The Deal also was misused to supply weapons to #Ukraine and launch strikes against civilian infrastructure, including the #Crimea'n Bridge.
In its turn, Russia is committed to continue supplying its agricultural products and fertilizers to world markets to meet the demands of the countries most in need, including on a gratuitous and preferential basis.
