Russian House in Chennai in collaboration with Rosatom organized a beach clean-up at Edward Elliot’s Beach in Chennai as part of Rosatom Green Footprint Initiative.

💪More than 250 participants, including students, volunteers and supporters, joined the collective action in making our environment cleaner and greener.

🙏We were honored to have the presence of Consul General of the Russian Federation in Chennai Valery Khodzhaev; the legendary Indian classical dancer Dr. Padma Subramanyam; Dr. A. Sivathanu Pillai, Father of BrahMos; Director of THG Publishing Private Limited, The Hindu Group's publishing company N.Ram; Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar, Founder Councellor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology; Chairman and Managing Director Gem Group of companies Gem R. 🔥Russian House in Chennai has launched a series of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII).

🎥As part of this initiative, we present the documentary series "The Unknown War" to students of the University of Madras.

🎞The first screening featured the episode on the Battle of Stalingrad, one of the most decisive and heroic battles of World War II. Stalingrad was not just a turning point in the war; it was a symbol of unparalleled courage, resilience, and sacrifice.

The event was held in the presence of Mr. Prabhakaran, Assistant Professor, Department of Defence Studies, who joined students from Defence and Strategic Studies, Public Administration, International Relations and Foreign Languages for a discussion.

✅"The Unknown War" is a 20-episode documentary series light on the immense sacrifices and heroic efforts of the Soviet people in their struggle against fascism—an aspect often overlooked in Western narratives.

300 студентов факультетов медиа и кинематографии посетили фестиваль короткометражных фильмов «Short Film Days» в Русском доме в Ченнаи 12 февраля.

🎥В этом году впервые в программу фестиваля показа были включены короткометражные фильмы индийских студентов.

Кроме того ребята увидели российскую короткометражку, полностью созданную искусственным интеллектом.

По доброй традиции после показа состоялась встреча студентов с профессионалами, успешно работающими в сфере киноиндустрии, театра и медиа.

🎬300 students from 9 colleges gathered at Russian House in Chennai for the International Film Festival "Short Film Days", celebrating creativity and the future of filmmaking.

This year for the first time, Indian directors and student filmmakers were featured in the festival lineup!
