⚡️ Possible areas of cooperation were discussed, including the role of the younger generation in strengthening Russian-Indian relations in the spheres of education, culture and science.

⚡️ The Geostrata is an Indian youth start-up that aims to increase youth engagement in topical issues of India and the world with a monthly reach of 20 million views and more than 350 employees across the country.

🌍 On October 18-19, Doha hosted the III Regional Youth Conference of Russian Compatriots from Asia and Africa.

👥 The event dedicated to the exchange of experience in organizing a youth movement and establishing new contacts was attended by delegates from different countries of the world, including India, which was represented by Ekaterina Tirath, Education Coordinator of the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots. 🇷🇺🇮🇳

💬 The conference programme included master classes on public speaking, holding youth events and the specifics of working with a new generation of compatriots.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On November 18, the first #BRICS Educational Expedition, a programme of the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Russia-BRICS Project Office of International Youth Cooperation aimed at training young leaders and NGO heads, concluded in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

✍️ During the three-day event held at the Gujarat University, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Project Office (from Russia) and the BRICS Youth Alliance (from India) on joint work with a view to strengthening cultural and educational ties.

👥 More than 100 people from 20 Indian cities took part in the programme, which included a series of expert lectures, seminars and master classes.

📍 The next destinations for the Expedition will be Iran, the UAE, Ethiopia and Brazil.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On January 23, Minister Counsellor & DCM of the Russian Embassy in India Roman Babushkin held a meeting with first-year students of the School of Business of the Vidya University, Meerut.

💬 The diplomat spoke in detail about the history and current areas of Russian-Indian cooperation, including interaction in BRICS and other multilateral fora.

🟣 Much attention was paid to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and events dedicated to this date.

🤝 Students were interested in the opportunities of participating in youth and student exchange programmes, visiting relevant festivals.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On April 16, at the Russian House in New Delhi, DCM & Minister Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in India Roman Babushkin addressed the round table dedicated to educational and youth cooperation between the two countries.

☝🏻 The diplomat underscored that historically deep, comprehensive and trusting relations between Russia and India at all stages were future-oriented — cooperation in the strategic areas (defence, space, nuclear energy) was always accompanied by dynamic humanitarian ties. He invited young people to actively participate in diverse exchange programmes and use expanding opportunities to realize their potential in various areas.

💬 Among other speakers were Deputy Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Ivan Ramenev, Chairman of the Confederation of Young Leaders Himadrish Suwan, National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party Anil K Antony, who also noted the broad prospects and role of youth in further expanding bilateral dialogue.
