In preparation for Victory Day and the end of the Great Patriotic War celebrations on May 9 in Russia, RT used neural networks to restore footage from the Second World War.
On the video: the first parade of Soviet troops in Berlin on May 4, 1945, and rare footage taken after the surrender of Germany. They show the victorious warriors returning home. More than 26 million Soviet soldiers didn’t return.
