📢 Россия 🇷🇺 вносит существенный вклад в развитие международных подходов по теме информации и коммуникации, в работу программы ЮНЕСКО "Информация для всех" #IFAP

☝6–8 июня 2023 г. в Ханты-Мансийске в рамках XIV Международного IT-Форума и #IFAP состоялась V международная конференция «Информация и коммуникация в цифровую эпоху: явные и неявные воздействия».

📍Выступивший на открытии Постпред России при ЮНЕСКО Р.Ж.Аляутдинов обратил внимание на политизацию деятельности #UNESCO в сфере коммуникации и информации из-за политики стран Запада. Подчеркнул наработки и передовые позиции России в сфере обеспечения многоязычия, которые получили высокую оценку при рассмотрении Рекомендации 2003 г. о развитии и использовании многоязычия и всеобщем доступе к киберпространству.

📍Ответственный секретарь Комиссии РФ по делам ЮНЕСКО Т.Е.Довгаленко сообщила, что Россия много сделала для разработки Рекомендации об этических аспектах искусственного интеллекта (ИИ). Главное - удалось  закрепить человекоцентричный подход, а именно: на всех этапах использования ИИ человек должен иметь право вето на любые решения. В развитие Рекомендации #UNESCO в России принят национальный Кодекс этики ИИ и создана Комиссия, которая будет наблюдать за его осуществлением.

☝ 6-8 June 2023 Khanty-Mansiysk hosted the XIV International IT Forum and the 5th International Conference "Tangible and Intangible Impact of Communication and Information in the DigitalAge".

📍 The Permanent Delegate of the Russian Federation to UNESCO Mr. Rinat Alyautdinov drew attention to the politicization of #UNESCO activities in the field of communication and information due to the policy of the Western countries. He underlined Russian developments and achievements in the field of multilingualism that were reflected in the UNESCO report on implementation of the 2003 Recommendation concerning the Promotion and Use of Multilingualism and Universal Access to Cyberspace.

📍 Ms. Tatiana Dovgalenko, Secretary General of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, said that Russia has done a lot for the development of the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethical of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The main thing is to consolidate the human-centric approach, namely: at all stages of the use of AI a human being should have the right to veto any decisions. As a follow-up to the #UNESCO AI Recommendation, Russia has adopted a national AI Code of Ethics and established a Commission to oversee its implementation.

📍High-level International Conference “World Treasury of Mother Tongues: Nourish and Cherish”, attended by experts from 44 countries (Moscow, July 2022) - the first major event of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages #IDIL;

📍 5th International Conference "Tangible and Intangible Impact of Information and Communication in the Digital Age”, attended by 150 experts from 48 countries (Khanty-Mansiysk, June 2023);

📍 3rd Scientific and Practical Conference on Raising Efficiency of Activities to Preserve and Develop Indigenous Languages (December 2022);

📍 Prepared the Almanac ”My Mother Tongue”, providing analysis of current state and prospects of preserving ethnic languages, sharing experience on promoting multilingualism and preserving language diversity.

📍Член Президиума, Докладчик, Председатель Рабочей группы по многоязычию А.Паршакова🇷🇺 представила результаты работы российской стороны в областях компетенции #IFAP включая подготовку к проведению VI международной конференции "Информация и коммуникация в цифровую эпоху: явные и неявные воздействия" (Ханты-Мансийск, 18-20.06) и ко Второй международной конференции высокого уровня "Всемирная сокровищница родных языков: оберегать и лелеять" (С.-Петербург 30.06-02.07).

📍В рамках работы над Руководящими принципами Программы согласован порядок формирования рабочих групп.

📍Состоялся плодотворный обмен мнениями с Председателем #IFAP П.Хименезом🇩🇴, членами Президиума #IFAP и замгендиректора #UNESCO Т.Джеласси

Russia 🇷🇺 makes significant contribution to promotion of UNESCO #IFAP Programme priorities.

On 18–20 June, the Russian #IFAP National Committee organizes VI International Conference “Tangible and intangible impact of Information and Communication in the Digital Age” within the framework of XV International IT Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk.

The conference is organized in co-operation with the Government of Khanty-Mansiysk - Yugra and with the support of the Russian Federation Commission for UNESCO Affairs and the Permanent Delegation of the Russian Federation to UNESCO.

More than 150 experts from more than 40 countries are expected to participate in the conference.

📍Под председательством России Раб.группа ведет активные исследования языковой ситуации в мире, организует тренинги и дискуссии в поддержку языкового разнообразия.

📍Ключевым форумом стала II Международная конференция высокого уровня «Всемирная сокровищница родных языков» (Санкт-Петербург, 30 июня – 2 июля 2024).

⚡️At the #IFAP Intergovernmental Council, the Chairperson of the Working Group on Multilingualism A.Parshakova🇷🇺 made a report:

📍Under the chairmanship of Russia, the Working Group conducts active research on the language situation in the world, organizes trainings and discussions in support of linguistic diversity.

📍In 2024, Russia hosted major international events with the participation of more than 40 countries.

📍The II International High-Level Conference “World Treasury of Mother Tongues” (Saint Petersburg, June 30 – July 2, 2024) became the key forum.
