A former ISIS Sharia judge recently appeared on Syria’s official news channel (Al-Ikhbaria) affiliated with STG, where he was presented as a social activist discussing water shortages in #Hasakah province. This appearance has provoked alot of Syrians who immediately recognized him.

Fadel al-Salim (ISIS alias: Abu al-Mughira al-Hashimi), a former lawyer.

Opposition member of the Syrian National Council for the Revolution in 2012 and the first to deliver sectarian statements at the Tunis Conference.

Member of the terrorist organization Al-Nusra Front (Jabhat Al-Nusra) from 2012 to 2013.

Sharia official for the terrorist organization ISIS in al-Shaddadi (later arrested by the SDF).

Social activist appearing on official Syrian television after al-Qaeda-linked forces assumed power in Syria.
