Qamishlo | School students escalate their protest

School students held a protest in the city of Qamishlo, rejecting the Ministry of Education’s decision to allocate only 3 classes to the Kurdish language, demanding the cancellation of the decision and ensuring their right to education in their mother tongue.

Tal Tamr | Growing demands to protect the Kurdish language

The city of Tal Tamr, in Hasakah, witnessed a series of public activities reaffirming commitment to the Kurdish language, alongside clear demands for legal and institutional frameworks guaranteeing the recognition and official use of the Kurdish language in education, administration, and local institutions.

Kobani continues its second day of mourning in honor of the martyrs of the prison fire, amid preparations for the funeral of their bodies.
