🇰🇷 |❄️ Record-Breaking Snowfalls in South Korea Continue for the Second Day
‼️ Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is experiencing severe snowfalls for the second consecutive day. On November 27, overnight snowfall reached 18 cm. According to recent data, this marks the third most intense snowfall recorded since meteorological observations began in 1907. Snowdrifts persist today, further disrupting daily life.
🆘 Heavy snowfall has paralyzed major roads, canceled hundreds of flights, and left over 20,000 homes without electricity. Tragically, two lives have been lost. Additionally, strong winds tore roofs from buildings and blew construction debris onto pedestrians, causing several injuries.
⚠️ Meteorologists explain that a cold front from the northwest turned rain into snow due to plummeting temperatures. Forecasts indicate snowfall will continue at a rate of up to 5 cm per hour in the coming days.
