🎥 On #Day3 (Sept 23), the Russian delegation led by Sergey Lavrov kept busy. Sorry to disappoint certain Western colleagues, but no "isolation" in sight:

• Talks with Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan

🇷🇺🇪🇷 On September 23, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a meeting with Foreign Minister of the State of Eritrea Osman Saleh on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
🤝 The talks focused on priority areas of further bilateral cooperation. Sergey Lavrov and Osman Saleh noted a high level of political interaction between Russia and Eritrea and agreed to continue close coordination of the two countries’ steps at the UN and other international venues.
The Ministers had an in-depth exchange of opinions on current international and regional issues, including settlement in the Horn of Africa. Preparations for the second #RussiaAfrica Summit were also considered.

🇷🇺🇨🇺 On September 23, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cuba Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The Ministers, in a traditionally trust-based and constructive manner, exchanged views on current issues of bilateral strategic partnership.
They reaffirmed the invariable approach of the two nations regarding their categorical rejection of the use of unilateral sanctions.
🤝 Bruno Rodriguez reaffirmed Cuba’s solidarity with Russia’s efforts to defend peace, security and international law on the basis of the UN Charter. The Russian side reiterated its support for Havana in its fair demand for a full and prompt lifting of the US embargo.
✍️ A five-year schedule of consultations between the foreign ministries was signed in order to maintain their intensive dialogue.

🤝 The Ministers discussed the state of bilateral relations as well as the current international agenda with a focus on acute regional issues on the African continent.
They stressed the crucial importance of the second #RussiaAfrica Summit due to be held in St Petersburg in 2023 for strengthening diverse relations of the Russian Federation with African nations.

The meeting was attended by FM of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, FM of the Kingdom of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani and Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the UN Mohamed Al-Hassan.
The discussion focused on the prospects for further enhancing Russia’s multifaceted cooperation with GCC countries, including the development of the political dialogue and stepping up trade and economic relations. The parties had a substantial exchange of opinions on current issues of the regional and international agenda.
Sergey Lavrov expressed his firm belief that the multipronged relations of the Russian Federation with GCC nations will continue developing successfully to the benefit of our nations and in the interest of forming a just, balanced and stable architecture of international relations in the Middle East and in the Gulf area.

The unipolar global development model, which served the 💰 golden billion, for centuries fuelling its excessive consumption by relying on Asian, African, & Latin American resources, is 👉 receding into the past.
🌐 Today, with the emergence of sovereign states that are ready to stand up for their national interests, an equal, socially-minded and sustainable multipolar architecture is taking shape.
❌ However, Washington and the ruling elites in Western countries that have fully submitted themselves to this rule have been viewing these objective geopolitical processes as a threat to their dominance.
