🇪🇷🇷🇺 Eritrea's leader urges Russia to play "historical role"

Eritrea's President Isaias Afwerki has called on Russia to perform its "historical responsibility" of promoting global peace and justice, the Eritrean Ministry of Information's website, Shabait, has reported.

Isaias made the comments during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Wednesday. Eritrea and Russia enjoy cordial relations.

Isaias added that "the unipolar world order", dominated by the US, had contributed to the "spiral of crises and destruction" around the world.

🇪🇷🇸🇪 Eritrean protesters storm festival in Sweden

Eritrean anti-government protestors have stormed a pro-government festival in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.

There are reports that several hundred people broke through a police barrier and destroyed festival marquees. Police in Sweden say no-one was injured.

Last month in Germany, hundreds of police used batons and pepper spray against protesters targeting another Eritrean pro-government festival in the central town of Giessen.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 🌍 Which regions are affected by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict that started a month ago has undoubtedly had an impact on other regions in the Greater Middle East. These regions house pro-Iranian groups and Western targets.

In our infographics, we have included all documented cases of attacks, shelling, statements, and other actions that have taken place in the target countries. Among these countries, Syria stands out due to its geographical location. It is the only country where retaliatory strikes have been launched against the positions of pro-Iranian groups. We are not considering Lebanon in this context, as local groups directly participate in the conflict.

❗️However, upon closer examination, it becomes apparent that the actions of pro-Iranian groups have failed to cause any significant damage and are primarily aimed at achieving PR goals.

Moreover, the only tangible outcome of these actions has been the reinforcement of US Armed Forces in the Middle East region and an increased burden on the US military-industrial complex with new orders.
