🇮🇱⚔️🇱🇧Israel is planning a “new ground war against Hezbollah” in Lebanon, writes The Times.

The plan for the invasion of southern Lebanon has already been developed. The IDF says it wants to push Hezbollah north to the Litani River, a line of symbolic significance for both sides.

The publication writes that such a plan carries risks of further escalation of the war in the Middle East and contradicts calls for restraint on the part of Western allies. The initial risk of Hezbollah's invasion eased in the fall when its leader Hassan Nasrallah said the group would not launch a major offensive unless provoked or Hamas was on the brink of a crushing defeat.

🇺🇦🇷🇺Zaluzhny denies a “stalemate” at the front.

The commander-in-chief did not answer the question of whether Ukraine plans an offensive in winter.

“This is a war, I cannot say what I am planning and what we will do. Otherwise, it will be a show, not a war, the price of which is human lives. We cannot talk about this under any circumstances,” Zaluzhny said.

Let us recall that the AFU commander-in-chief announced a “deadlock” at the front in his resonant article for The Economist on November 1st.

Zaluzhny criticized the dismissals of military commissars carried out by Zelensky this summer after corruption scandals.

When asked how the removal of the heads of regional TCCs affected the effectiveness of mobilization, the commander-in-chief replied that “they were professionals, they knew how to do it, but now they are gone.”

According to him, as quoted by the media, now the mobilization process should not be strengthened, but “simply returned to the framework in which it worked before.”

Zaluzhny said that now this is “the problem of the guys fighting on the front line, who must be replaced by someone.”

Zaluzhny said that he did not regard the wiretapping found on him as “pressure.”

“I regard it as a war,” the commander-in-chief briefly commented.

“Anything can happen,” he answered when asked whether this is one of the methods of influence in war conditions.

🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺The Ukrainian army is facing a shortage of artillery shells and has curtailed some military operations - Reuters

▪️Brigadier General Tarnavsky stressed that the shortage of artillery shells is a “very big problem”, and the reduction in foreign military assistance is having an impact on the battlefield:

▪️"There is a problem with ammunition, especially post-Soviet ammunition - 122 mm, 152 mm. And today these problems exist along the entire front line. The volumes that we have today are not sufficient for us today, given our needs. Therefore, we are redistributing them. We are replanning the tasks that we set for ourselves and reducing them, because we need to provide for them,” Tarnavsky said.

▪️According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have gone on the defensive in some areas of the southeastern front, but are trying to attack others, and Russia is also “experiencing a problem with ammunition”.

🇺🇦🕵🏻‍♂️🇺🇦The first reaction from the President's Office to the wiretap found on Zaluzhny has appeared.

Advisor to the head of the Office of the President Sergei Leshchenko states that the media “erroneously” write that the device was found in the office of the commander-in-chief.

“We are talking about an outdated device that was used by Ukrainian services back in the days of Yanukovych. The technical device did not have equipment for transmitting a signal or storing information. It was discovered in a room located in one of the public buildings, where the Commander-in-Chief intended to stay together with his colleagues and subordinates This premises was state property for a long time, but then fell into the hands of a private investor, who operated it at his own discretion,” writes Leshchenko.

He reports that Zaluzhny was in this office more than a year ago. His subordinate was also sitting there. Then they changed location, and now they decided to return.

Earlier, Zaluzhny himself said that he regards wiretapping as “war.”

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Western allies of Ukraine are discussing the option of Kiev agreeing to a "freeze of the conflict," which would be presented as a Ukrainian victory, reports the Financial Times.

The newspaper notes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lack ammunition and finances, and the "victory narratives" for the next year are already absent.

🐻 Don't you just love how these "western allies" always make plans that never involve Russia. Did anyone ask Russia if they want to "freeze the conflict?" Pretty sure you'll get a big fat NO!
