🇷🇸 🇷🇺🇺🇦 The President of Republika Srpska expresses hope for Russia’s “great victory” in the Ukrainian conflict and explains why Moscow had every reason to conduct a Special Military Operation (SMO).
▪️According to Milorad Dodik, who leads the Serbian entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia had every right to protect Russians living in Ukraine, from whom the Kyiv authorities took away the right to their native language. He emphasizes that Russia simply asked for Ukraine to remain militarily neutral and respect the rights of all people living on its territory. And this - a completely legitimate reason.
▪️The politician firmly believes that something completely abnormal occurred: that “the British, Germans, and Americans established a regime in Kyiv that suited their interests, and did not stop there.” The President of Republika Srpska is convinced that the West has unleashed a war against Russia using Ukraine. Therefore, he suggests redefining the goals of the Special Military Operation.
🔻 Milorad Dodik is one of the few politicians in Eastern Europe who demonstrates how to defend the interests of your people even in unimaginable conditions. He strongly opposed the "cultural enrichment" that brought Bosnia and Herzegovina to the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe, and prevented the establishment of any migration centers in Republika Srpska. He openly supports the idea of creating a "Serbian world" to preserve the Serbian national identity, language, and culture.
In addition, Dodik has successfully blocked anti-Russian sanctions for several years, which can only be imposed with the consent of representatives of all three nations living in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He speaks his mind without fear of Western backlash, pursues an independent policy despite being included on the sanctions lists of Great Britain and the United States, and has survived numerous assassination attempts and attempted "color revolutions."
However, defending the sovereignty of one's people comes at a high price: due to his uncompromising position in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a criminal case has already been opened against the politician under pressure from the West.

🇨🇳🇺🇸 Chinese Air Force Activity in the Asia-Pacific Region
Over the past few weeks, the Chinese command has significantly increased its activity in the Asia-Pacific region in response to provocative actions by American troops and their allies in Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Australia.
🔻In response to regular exercises, bomber flights, and various movements of US Air Force aircraft, the Chinese have become more active in several areas.
–Near the border with Mongolia, Chinese pilots practiced scenarios of a full-scale conflict, likely involving Taiwan. This training area previously featured a full-scale model of the Taiwanese city Taipei, indicating the nature of the exercises. Additionally, the Taiwanese Air Force possesses aviation capabilities that make them a formidable adversary.
–Prior to this, Chinese N-6K bombers conducted a series of flights near the shores of South Korea, practicing simulated guided bomb attacks on American bases. Takeoffs were conducted from multiple air bases, and the bombers changed locations several times, likely simulating attacks on various air bases.
–The PLA Air Force has resumed tactical aviation flights around Taiwan. Taiwan has expressed concern about the increased PLA activity along the Taiwan Strait, where the Chinese conducted training in air combat and striking air defense positions.
–In the South China Sea, naval aviation activities continue, along with the operation of KJ-500 AWACS aircraft and drones in the vicinity of the disputed islands. The number of aircraft involved has notably increased. Furthermore, the same Wuzhen-7 or WZ-7 UAVs are now regularly patrolling the Philippine coast, a new development.
❗️The PLA Air Force's recent activity can be described as unprecedented, with numerous trainings conducted in different areas almost simultaneously. Chinese pilots are actively preparing, recognizing the importance of readiness despite the lack of real combat experience.

🇺🇸 🇰🇷🇰🇵 The situation on the Korean Peninsula remains tense due to ongoing military exercises and other military activity in the region.
▪️ Last week, bilateral air exercises between the US and the Republic of Korea began at the South Korean Kunming Air Base. About 100 aircraft will be involved, including F-35A, F-35B, F-16, and others.
The exercise, which will also include U.S. Army and Marine personnel, will focus on joint maneuvers with advanced fighter jets and enhancing precision strike capabilities.
Such training takes place annually, and therefore, they are not a response to any recent actions by the DPRK.
▪️ Without going far from North Korea - the media, citing satellite images of the Sohae test site, report that the military is actively preparing to launch a second reconnaissance satellite. In the US and South Korea, it is believed that the launch could be carried out as early as this week.
▪️ The first satellite was launched in November 2023, which led to even greater tensions between the DPRK and the Republic of Korea. It was then that the South Koreans canceled part of the agreement, one of the provisions of which was the renunciation of intelligence activities on the border. North Korea responded by terminating the agreement completely.
Information about a launch this week, of course, may not be confirmed. However, sooner or later, the DPRK will launch another satellite into orbit to monitor potential adversaries. The North Korean leader plans to launch three spacecraft this year.
🔻It can be argued that this event, as well as the reaction to it from Seoul and Washington, will further undermine the situation on the Korean Peninsula. This means that permanent tension in the region will continue.
