as of 22.00 June 24, 2022
🔻 The group of troops "South" under the command of General of the Army Surovikin completed the defeat of the encircled grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the "Gorsky cauldron". Russian troops and units of the People's Militia of the LPR liberated the settlements of GORSKOE and ZOLOTOE.
There were up to two thousand people in the "Mountain Cauldron": about 1800 military personnel, 120 Nazis of the "Right Sector", up to 80 foreign mercenaries; as well as more than 40 units of armored combat vehicles and about 80 guns and mortars. 41 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially laid down their arms.
🔻 Allied forces are mopping up the southern outskirts of LISICHANSK. Formations and military units of the group of troops "Center" of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation under the command of Colonel General Lapin blocked the city from the south
▪️ Fierce battles are going on in industrial areas on the southern outskirts of LISICHANSK at a gelatin plant and a rubber products plant. Militia units are cleaning up the Lisichansk glass factory.
Tank subunits of the 17th brigade fire indiscriminately in order to deter the offensive of the RF Armed Forces in the south of LISICHANSK.
▪️ Despite the fire control of the route from LISICHANSK, a partial withdrawal of forces to reserve positions began. At the same time, some units arbitrarily leave their positions: 60 servicemen of the 57th motorized brigade retreated from the given lines.
▪️ There is an intensive shelling of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in certain areas of SEVERODONETSK and LISICHANSK. The remaining units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to leave SEVERODONETSK, independently forcing the Seversky Donets River.
Artillery units and aviation of the RF Armed Forces destroyed the fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Maloryazantsevo and Novodruzhesk.
