🇷🇺🇺🇦 Early in the morning, Ukrainian formations carried out another raid on the Crimean peninsula. Three groups of Mugin-5 drones (at least ten units), handicraft equipped with explosives, took off from the Shkolny airfield in the directions of Sevastopol, Gvardeisky and Evpatoria.

In Sevastopol, one of the "Mugins" struck at the fuel tanks in the Cossack Bay. One was shot down by a rifle detachment over the Sevastopol Bay, and four more were suppressed by electronic warfare in the Black Sea.

In addition, about three or four UAVs were landed by electronic warfare on approach to Cape Tarkhankut, and another one was shot down by the calculation of the Pantsir air defense missile system over Gvardeisky, flying from Razdolnoye.

Tonight, Ukrainian formations once again tried to strike with drones at important military and civilian infrastructure in the Crimea and Sevastopol.

The AFU launched 23 UAVs (22 Mugin-5 types and one Tu-141 Swift jet) in three groups of seven UAVs on average from Shkolny airfields in Odessa and Hydroport on the northwestern outskirts of the city.

As a result of the active work of the air defense systems of the 31st air defense division, the Black Sea Fleet and electronic warfare units, all UAVs were hit and landed near Sevastopol and Gvardeisky, there was no damage. One of the UAVs fell into a field near the Monastery Highway.

🔻Over the past two days, this is the second attempt to strike at the Crimean peninsula. On May 6, Ukrainian formations launched from the Grom-2 OTRK from a position area in Zaporizhia. The rocket fell in a field near the village of Privetnoye in the Kirovsky district.

The increased frequency of attacks by Ukrainian drones and tactical missiles on the Crimean peninsula is direct evidence of preparations for an offensive. It is the southern direction that is of strategic interest to the AFU.

By characteristic signs, in the Odessa region, preparations are underway for another UAV launch, despite the night strike of the Russian Armed Forces on Shkolny. Attempts of raids by drones and OTRK should be expected both today and tomorrow on the eve of Victory Day on May 9th.

Night strikes make it possible to maintain the desired degree of tension in the situation on the peninsula. And at this stage, the main goal of the AFU is to calculate the air defense position areas before a more massive launch of the UAV.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 On the AFU's preparations for strikes on Crimea and Sevastopol

🔻Yesterday was notable for the fact that the southern Russian territories sounded the alarm several times, either due to the takeoff of tactical aviation or the appearance of unidentified objects on air defense systems.

The exact reason still remains unclear. But as a rule, when this happens, it is associated with the launch of decoy missiles (most likely, ADM-160 MALD). And it was most likely these that the air defense stations reacted to.

❓What is the purpose of this? This gives the enemy the opportunity to assess the reaction of our air defense units to targets appearing in the air. Radar stations are put into active operation, and NATO intelligence records this and determines the location.

And all this is confirmed by the high activity of NATO aircraft and drones. In the air were American U-2S, P-8A, two MQ-9A Reapers, as well as a British RC-135V and a French AWACS E-3F aircraft accompanied by four Rafale fighters.

❗️Their simultaneous appearance in the Black Sea region together with false missile launches does not look accidental. The British electronic warfare reconnaissance aircraft approached Sevastopol to a distance of 230 km, and the French AWACS - to 190 km from Sochi.

▪️And today, the intensity of flights is not decreasing. Since night, the American drone RQ-4B has been actively operating south of the Crimean Bridge, and the Italian long-range radar detection aircraft G-550 is functioning over the Black Sea - a rare guest in this area.

▪️NATO satellites are searching for and detecting air defense positions across the peninsula. The number of sessions has almost doubled compared to the average number of images.

🔻In summary, over the past few days, the following has been noted:
➖Increased activity of NATO reconnaissance aviation
➖Launches of decoy missiles towards Crimea
➖High intensity of aerial photography of the surface of Crimea

If we add the official statements about additional deliveries of long-range missiles, including ATACMS and Storm Shadow (not that they weren't there before, it's just that now the green light has been given for their use), we get a complete picture: new attempts at strikes are not far off.

And this may happen during the May holidays, and even more likely, by the inauguration of the president on May 7. Given the love of the authorities of the so-called Ukraine and their curators for symbolism, the Crimean Bridge, to which attention is already very high, may once again become the target.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🏴 In Sevastopol, about an hour ago on Taras Shevchenko Street near the "Fresh" supermarket, a car exploded. The man inside had his leg blown off and, according to the latest information, he died from his injuries.

There are currently two versions of what caused the incident: an explosion of gas installed in the car, and a terrorist attack using a homemade explosive device. Pro-Ukrainian channels report that the man was a serviceman.

We should now wait for official statements from the law enforcement agencies and the authorities of Sevastopol, but the power of the explosion suggests an external factor.

Eyewitness accounts and the condition of the car indicate consequences too severe for just a gas equipment failure. Additionally, the Ukrainian authorities have not shied away from such methods in the past.
