⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Starobelsk Direction until 14:00 on 7 Dec 2022⚡️
There are no significant changes. The AFU is attempting to break through with small forces in some parts of the front without using their main resources.
At the same time, radio communication activity has decreased throughout the front, which may be due to the switch to radio silence mode in preparation for a large-scale offensive.
♦️#Kupyansk - #Svatovo Sector:
▪️ Assault groups of the 2nd Battalion of the 14th Mechanized Brigade, supported by the 32nd Composite Battalion of the AFU Territorial Defence, are planning an offensive on the #Lyman 1st - #Sinkovka line. UAV calculations from #Petropavlovka are conducting reconnaissance on the positions of the RF Armed Forces.
▪️ West of #Kislovka and #Yagodnoye observation posts of the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade were established, in #Petropavlovka and southwest of #Pervomayskoye the 14th Mechanized Brigade took up positions, in #Stelmakhovka the 92nd Mechanized Brigade and units of the AFU's Signals Intelligence.
♦️#Lyman Sector:
▪️ The 25th Airmobile Brigade of the AFU continues to attempt to storm Russian positions in #Ploshchanka and a section of the #Makeyevka - #Ploshchanka road in order to continue towards #Krasnorechenskoye.
To carry out the offensive, 50 men from the 125th Battalion of the 113th Territorial Defence Brigade have been redeployed to the area of #Nevskoye, while rotation has been carried out at the support points of the 3rd Battalion of the 25th Brigade. The positions of thr 66th Mechanized Brigade in #Kolodezi have been supplied with Milan ATGMs and large-calibre machine guns.
▪️ Russian forces are attacking Ukrainian lines in the direction of #Chervonopopovka. As a result of the fighting, the AFU abandoned seven platoon strongholds southwest of #Ploshchanka.
▪️ Units of the 25th Airmobile Brigade made another unsuccessful counterattack attempt west of #Chervonopopovka. However, the offensive was thwarted by heavy artillery fire from the RF Armed Forces.

Today is a day of special significance for our country, especially now - the day of fallen journalists. There is no doubt that our war correspondents are the best in the world. And there is plenty of evidence, as in the 90s in #Chechnya, in the 10s in #Syria and, of course, in the vast expanses of the SMO. It's important to understand that a military correspondent is not about "getting behind the tape to take pictures", it's about arrivals, injuries and rarely, but death. One should not pay attention to the long absence of losses on the information front of the struggle for truth, it is compensated by exceptional professionalism of our journalists.
⚔️ The Situation on the Fronts in the outgoing Day
♦️#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:
The AFU militants attacked in the direction of #Sophiyevka #LPR, but the Russian army, supported by army aviation and heavy flamethrower systems, destroyed the enemy group. The Ukrainian army also launched several counterattacks in the areas of #Ploshchanka, #Golikovo and #Kremennaya #LPR, but all Nazi attacks were stopped by army aviation strikes.
♦️#Artemovsk (#Bahmut) Direction:
"The orchestrators are advancing on the eastern outskirts of #Artemovsk. Fighting is taking place in the industrial zone and on the outskirts of the city. Fighting continues in the town itself on Fyodor Maksimenko Street and in Pervomaysky Lane. Also, units of the Wagner PMC are breaking through the development in #Opytnoye. In addition, the clearing of #Yakovlevka, which was liberated a week ago, has been completed, opening another route to #Soledar.
♦️#Ugledar Direction:
The AFU moved reserves to #Dobrovolye #DPR, but they were destroyed by Russian army strikes. Also, two Ukrainian SRGs were destroyed near #Pavlovka.
💥 The Russian Aerospace Forces in the Yablonovka region of the DPR shot down an Ukrainian MiG-29, as well as an enemy Mi-8 in the #Nikolaevka region of the #DPR.
💡 The frantic battles of the summer of 2014 were remembered by the residents of #Donbass, as was the landmark event of that period - the battle for #Shakhtyorsk. The city became the scene of a fierce battle between the #Donetsk militia and Ukrainian paratroopers. What exactly happened in the city is described in our story.

▪️ Russian air defence assets overnight shot down enemy drones near #Sevastopol and #Simferopol.
▪️ The RF Armed Forces hit AFU staging areas in #Lipovka and #Yelino, Chernigov region, and #Volfino, #Pavlovka and #Pokrovka, #Sumy region.
▪️ In Kharkov region, Russian troops hit enemy positions in #Ogurtsovo, #Kamenka, #Strelecheya and #Staritsa.
▪️ In the #Starobelsk direction, the RF Armed Forces targeted accumulations of manpower and armoured vehicles of the Ukrainian formations in #Dvurechnaya, #Kupyansk, #Berestovoye and #Ternoye.
The enemy shelled #Ploshchanka, #Dibrova and #Chervonopovka.
▪️ During the night, the RF Armed Forces hit an AFU deployment point at the ice arena and an ammunition depot in #Druzhkovka.
▪️ In the #Bakhmut (#Artyomovsk) direction, Russian missile forces and artillery struck the AFU staging areas in #Bakhmut, #Soledar, #Kleshchiyevka and #Dyleyevka.
