🇩🇪 About German extremists who were preparing to storm the Bundestag

On the night of December 7, German police special forces carried out an operation in 11 federal states to arrest 25 people who belong to a right-wing radical organization.

About 3,000 law enforcement officers searched 130 objects at the same time, 50 people are under investigation.

🔻What is known about the arrested?

▪️According to German media, the following were detained: a former member of parliament from the Alternative for Germany party, 58-year-old Birgit Malsack-Winkemann, and a judge from Berlin, as well as several former members of the Special Forces Command (KSK) and Bundeswehr paratroopers.

▪️The 71-year-old businessman from Frankfurt am Main, Henry XIII, Prince Reuss is considered the main organizer of the "mutiny".

▪️Also among the detainees there is a Russian citizen named Vitalia B.

▪️All of them belong to the right-wing radical group called "Reichsburger" (Reichsbürger / "Citizens of the Reich").

▪️The organization has allegedly been planning a violent overthrow of power in Germany since November 2021, and weapons were found during searches of members of the movement.

🔻What does this mean for German politics?

▪️The largest anti-terrorist operation of the special services in the history of the country, as well as active media coverage and mountains of prepared information, do not leave space for a discussion about the guilt of the suspects.

▪️ The German media have already explained that 58-year-old Birgit Malsack-Winkemann, being a member of the Bundestag, knows how to navigate the Reichstag building and is good at shooting (apparently, in order to personally storm the government with an army of militias).

▪️Given the small number of detainees and the dubious reputation of the suspects, whose organization is often compared to the American QAnon, the conclusion suggests itself that the Scholz government, under this pretext, decided to crack down on the right-wing opposition with one blow.

▪️There have already been statements by the German prosecutor's office that those suspected of preparing a coup d'état allegedly contacted representatives of the Russian Federation, but did not receive support.

Apparently, the upcoming criminal case on terrorism will silence the AfD deputies for a long time, who often allowed themselves to criticize the sanctions against Russia and, in general, disagree with the pro-American course of the current government.

⚡️🇷🇺🇩🇪🇺🇦 On the Use of German AT2 Mines by Ukrainian Formations⚡️

In the #Liman area west of #Kremennaya, Russian sappers discovered AT2 anti-tank mines, probably remotely mounted from a MARS II multiple rocket launcher system.

The modification of the ammunition looks rather curious: judging by the photo, it is DM1443, the information about the characteristics of which is practically not available in open sources. It is highly likely that the find is the latest development of the German military.

The shipment of these mines can be associated either with the depletion of AT2 stocks in #Germany, or with the desire to test new products in combat conditions used in unified MLRS MFOM shells.

At least 28 AT2 mines can be placed in the warhead of such a missile, while the main body is occupied by a shaped charge of 907 g of explosive with a penetration of about 140 mm of armor.

A characteristic feature of these mines is the presence of a flexible metal antenna raised 70 cm off the ground. It acts as a sensor and is triggered when the antenna is moved to a certain angle.

🔻 Previously, the media only reported on the production of AT2 mines in variants DM1233/1274/1399. The difference between them is in the simultaneous number of AT2s deployed, the dispersion area and the range. The use of the DM1399 variant by the AFU is also reliably known. Last week, Ukrainian formations bombarded residential areas of #Donetsk with them.

Formally, the mines are anti-tank, but because of the sensitivity of the sensors they can also be triggered by humans. This effectively equates them with anti-personnel mines, which is banned by the #Ottawa Convention, which #Germany legally abides by.

Expecting an immediate end to the use of banned weapons against civilians in #Donbass is pointless. The bias of international organisations is no secret to anyone, and they have little real power.

This, in fact, is confirmed by the active production of anti-personnel mines by the German military industry.

🇩🇪 🇷🇺🇺🇦 About the ban on Russian flags in Berlin and why we are losing the info war again

On May 3, the Berlin police introduced a complete ban on rallies, marches and demonstrations of any flags on May 8 and 9 in order to avoid provocations. Any commemorative events at the Soviet war memorials in Treptow Park, Tiergarten and Pankow and adjacent areas are also prohibited.

At the same time, yesterday the lawyers of the Ukrainian embassy managed to file an appeal and achieve the removal of the ban on the Ukrainian flag. The ban on Russian flags and Soviet banners remains in place.

Russian diplomats, in turn, made a statement to the media in which they condemned the decision of the German authorities, and apparently everything will be limited to condemnation .

❗️ Tomorrow, pro-Russian activists in Berlin will file their appeal, but without legal support from the Russian Embassy, which ignores the requests of Russian communities and, apparently, is not going to take any specific actions, it is unlikely to win this dispute.

🔻So it turns out that on the holidays of the Victory over Nazism, the inhabitants of Germany will observe another rally in support of Ukraine and mockery of Soviet memorials.

🇩🇪🇳🇪 Germany suspends development aid and budget support to Niger

Berlin announced on Monday, like Paris on Saturday, the suspension of its development aid and budget support to Niger after the military coup against President Mohamed Bazoum.

"We have suspended all direct support payments to the government of Niger," German Foreign Ministry spokesman told. "This morning it was decided to suspend all bilateral cooperation for development."

In addition, Berlin "is in the process of examining the entire bilateral commitment in Niger" and, depending on the evolution of the coming days, will "possibly take other measures", added the spokesperson.

🇨🇳🇩🇪 China and Germany pledge closer economic cooperation

China
and Germany agreed to strengthen economic cooperation and open up financial markets to spur economic growth and counter global challenges after resuming high-level talks in Frankfurt.

Both sides agreed to strengthen policy coordination and defend global financial security and global trade rules, according to a statement published by the Chinese finance ministry after the talks between vice-premier He Lifeng and German Finance Minister Christian Lindner.

The talks came at a time when the two countries are struggling to manage the risk of economic downturn and follows the publication of a German plan to “de-risk” its relationship with China by reducing its reliance on goods produced in the country.

🇩🇪🇪🇺🇺🇦 You should not take literally the news that due to a shortage of weapons, the German army “will only be able to hold out in battle for two days.” The topic of supplies of the AFU has now firmly moved into the political plane and in Germany, for example, is used both to criticize the current authorities and to knock out the defense budget.

And yet, there really are problems with the production of military products in Europe. Pumping up Ukrainian formations with weapons and ammunition has largely depleted the arsenals of EU countries, and current production capacities do not allow them to quickly meet their own needs, even for artillery rounds.

The question is which path the armed forces of European states will take under these conditions. There are not many options here, however, and they will all boil down to one thing - an ever-increasing transition to products of the American military-industrial complex, which will be accompanied by the gradual withering away of the EU military industry.
