|Title: II INTERNATIONAL UZSWLU MUN
|Time: 5th to 7th March, 2020
|Venue: Uzbekistan State World Languages University
UzSWLU MUN is the conference which is held annually in order to offer ideas to global matters and enhance the diplomatic skills of youth. It is aiming to guide youth engagement in the MUN conference, particularly with regards to the implementation, follow-up, and solution seeking against obstacles that are threatening the life of the global population.
TOPIC: DEVOTE A MERE DAY FOR THE CHILDREN IN A HAPPY WAY!!!
2. Committees
1. General Assembly (English) - 45 delegates, chair, co-chair
Agenda item: Halving child poverty in all its dimensions by 2030
2. United Nations Economic and Social Council (English) - 35 delegates, chair, co-chair
Agenda item: Justice for child victims and witnesses of crime
3. United Nations Security Council (English) - 15 delegates, chair, co-chair
Agenda item: Protecting children in conflict and natural disaster
4. United Nations Human Rights Council (English) - 35 delegates, chair, co-chair
Agenda item: Empowering children with disabilities for the enjoyment of their human rights, including through inclusive education
5. UNESCO (Russian) - 25 delegates, chair, co-chair
Agenda item: Urgent measures should be taken to reduce the number of out-of-school children
6. UNICEF (English) - 25 delegates, chair, co-chair
Agenda item: Countering forced child labor
Total number of delegates: 180!
3. Qualifications
°Fluency in English/Russian and confidence in public speaking – no shyness on the world stage
°Enthusiasm for the academic and formal atmosphere of the MUN
°Willingness to make new friends and possessed of good team-work spirit
°Commitment to academic training and ability to complete training assignments on time
4. Positions of Participants
Whatever your passion, all interested youth are eligible for this exciting MUN Conference, with four different positions open for application:
