Woke up this morn w a familiar awareness-

I'm still here.
All indication is that not much has gotten better in this world

Didn't really expect there would be.

The worldly parade picks up their pace of deceit&corruption

More&more people drink the koolaid- whereas truth has become lie &lies have become truth

When we find ourselves in a world of discomfort,as believers we know where &in Whom we can find comfort

Someday soon we will no longer have to be patient;to be a witness to encroaching darkness

Comfort can be found in faith&promise

Faith that your sin was paid for is found in the cracks&crevices of a blood stained cross-u just need to accept it!

Promise found in His Word that His death, burial &resurrection made a way so that the darkness of discomfort can disappear into the brightness of the comfort we can only find in Jesus!

If u or anyone u know is seeking the only comfort in a growing uncomfortable world-

Comfort found in one's faith today that secures the promise of eternity in Heaven w Him!

Curious- is Sylvan Lake area the only area with the non-stop 'Emergency Alert' sirens going off randomly every day since the 1:55pm test on Wednesday?

I have ALL sounds/notifications/vibration off on my phone at all times because I'm sound/noise sensitive... but these forced alerts are getting aggravating.
My guess is to keep us in amygdala mode at all times so they can manipulate the weakened and anxiety ridden bunch in a chronic state of panic so they are unable of making rational decisions... but this is getting ridiculous.
Curious if flip phones get the same invasive interruptions throughout the day and night 🤔

Idol worship may not be what you think.

It’s not just some carved image made out of wood or stone we might salute, bow toward, pay homage or burn incense to. It’s not necessarily one of the plethora of gods from eastern religions.

These idols can be other things such as power, ideas, success, feelings, or even our security of safety or wealth, but one of the greatest, most dangerous and subtle idol of them all, is the IDOL of SELF.

People become enamored with self! They fall in love with themselves! Their object of worship lies within. How can I please myself!

It has broken more marriages than any other culprit. If it “feels” right, then that’s how I am going to live it and do it, they say!

So many people today worship the mutable god of their own feelings and choices, placing MYSELF at the center of worship.

This is sin.

Sometimes I hope and expect God to change others instead of letting Him train me on how to respond and resist my bossy flesh.
It can be downright excruciating to keep my tongue and thumbs hushed when a stinging retort tingles on the tip of my tongue, but I think His way does require a completely different tone.

The Only Savior

There is only one Savior, and that is Jesus Christ, the Risen King! Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord! He is also Wonderful, Counselor, and the Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6).

It's already been a big year, and most of us have had to face many challenges, changes, and some have had to face tremendous grief.
We have seen broken heartedness, and some have seen the Glory that can only come for the Almighty I Am.
We have grown, Awakened, and returned to the only place where LIFE truly exist, to the WORD and ARMS of our Heavenly Father, Our First LOVE.

As new chapters begin to unfold, many will make resolutions, promises and set goals for the days and months to come.
I have chosen instead to Proclaim all that I dream to accomplish in the days ahead.
I like that word, PROCLAIM.
This is gonna be my new word for a minute.
Taking notes for remembering how the journey went and has gone.

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3

As we welcome a new spring, Proverbs 15:3 is a very helpful chapter to turn to. Every verse is applicable to our daily life.
It begins with the ever-relevant advice: “A soft answer turns away wrath.” Verse 2 counsels us to speak wisely about the state of our lives and the world. Verse 3 reminds us that the Lord observes all our actions and reactions.
His eyes are always open, watching both the good and the evil.

Those who don’t know the Lord never pause to think that God is observing them like bees in a glass hive, aware of all they say, think, do and plan. Those of us who do know and love Him are grateful we have someone watching over us.

In 1926, George and Ira Gershwin wrote a popular song entitled “Someone to Watch over Me.” How wonderful to know we have someone watching over us every moment of the year. As Psalm 145:20 says, “The LORD preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy." Great is His faithfulness to us!

I am speaking to Christian believers right now. Do you understand we are in a spiritual war that will not stop until Jesus comes back? If you are looking to avoid this war by sitting on the sidelines, you cannot! We were made for spiritual war and we are “more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:37

The Christian life is a life of WARFARE. We are called to be good soldiers of the Lord Jesus Christ and "to fight the good fight."

The reason why the Christian life is a warfare is that we have a terrible enemy who seeks to destroy us. That enemy is Satan. The Bible warns us,

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8

Satan and his fallen angels are the real enemies of the child of God. The Bible says,

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

Satan's object is to destroy people. The Lord Jesus said that he was "a murderer from the beginning." Satan has many ways of destroying people, but his main weapons are deceit and lies.

The Lord Jesus Christ came into the world to destroy the works of the devil. The Bible says,

"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil." 1 John 3:8

The cross is the place where Christ redeemed men from the power of Satan. Satan held men captive because of sin; but on the cross the Lord Jesus paid for our sins. He ended all of Satan's rights over us. Men can now choose who they will serve. Those who choose Jesus Christ as their Lord are delivered from the power of Satan. The Bible says,

"Giving thanks unto the Father…who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and brought us into the kingdom of His dear Son." Colossians 1:12-13

The cross is also the place where Satan was defeated. The Bible says that the Lord Jesus took our nature upon Him that…
"through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil."

When the Lord Jesus died on the cross, it seemed as though the powers of darkness were victorious over Him. But on the third day He arose from the grave with a mighty triumph over Satan and the powers of darkness.

The Lord Jesus appeared on the earth for a period of 40 days after His resurrection. Before He ascended back into Heaven, He said,
"ALL POWER is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth." Matthew 28:18

Satan and his evil spirits were stripped of all their authority. The Lord Jesus ascended back into Heaven as Victor over all the powers of darkness. He made a show of them openly. The Bible says,

"And having spoiled (defeated) principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them…" Colossians 2:15

Now here is an amazing truth: CHRIST'S VICTORY OVER THE POWERS OF DARKNESS IS OUR VICTORY! What Christ did, He did as our Representative. We shared in His death, we shared in His burial, we shared in His resurrection, and we share also in His victory over Satan! God raised Christ up and seated Him at His own right hand, and He raised us up with Him. The Bible says,

"(God) has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2:6

What is our new spiritual position? WE ARE SEATED WITH CHRIST FAR ABOVE THE POWERS OF DARKNESS. We who are in Christ are seated with Him in that position of power and victory "far above all." We share His throne! To share Christ's throne means to share His authority. We have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. The Lord Jesus said to His disciples,
"Behold, I give you authority…over all the power of the enemy…" Luke 10:19 (NKJB)
To have authority from Christ means that we have the right to act as His representatives. We can speak and act in His name.

Are you ready to battle and WIN? Do you now understand your authority? Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6) and LET’S GO! ⚔️🛡🙏

I seen some pretty smoky footage... the winds are turbine today, praying they get it under control and not make any more space for data centre's!

Not everything God gives comes in the form you expected.

Some blessings look like protection you didn’t notice, prayers that were quietly answered, strength you didn’t know you had, and doors that closed for your good.

It’s easy to focus on what’s missing and overlook what’s already present.

But gratitude shifts your vision.

It helps you see that even in the waiting, even in the stretching, God has been faithful.

When you start counting what you already have instead of what you lack, you’ll realize:
you’re not behind, you’re not forgotten, and you’re not empty.

You are blessed. Right here, right now.

Many have bought into the lie that "getting along" is the most important aspect of a civil society, but unity with evil &falsehoods for the sake of tolerance is a fool's errand.

Our foundation must be built firmly on TRUTH; all other ground is sinking sand. Never sacrifice truth on the altar of tolerance & unity.

It's better to stand with a small crowd on a foundation of truth than with a large crowd on the sinking sand of lies.

Truth, by nature, causes division. It divides good from evil. It divides those who accept it from those who reject it. It divides the light from the darkness.

Seeking & speaking truth will undoubtedly cause division with people, but remember their problem isn't with you: it's with the truth. It can be difficult, especially when it involves those we care about, but what's right is seldom easy.

When we speak the truth, there will be those who laugh, criticize, mock, walk away & avoid us, but it will also unite us with others who value truth as much as we do.

Airdrie RCMP are currently on scene of a collision on Bayside Boulevard, between 8 Street and Canal’s Link. Initial information suggests that the vehicle was in an altercation with several other vehicles when the collision occurred. Shots were then fired towards the vehicle. Four people have been transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident is believed to be targeted, and Airdrie RCMP does not believe there is any danger to the general public at this time. The public is asked to avoid the area while police conduct their investigation.

We’re in a time when people don't read, and so we must be in a time when people must show.

One reason, of many, Christ had to come was to BE the Word in the flesh.

The Jews were not abiding in God’s Word and so Christ came to dwell with them (John 8:12-59).

Today, we have a world that rejects Christ, and just like during His earthly ministry, the world needs to SEE Christ.

Saints, when we believe the Gospel, we are new creations. The Holy Spirit works in us to make us more like Christ. No, we are not Christ & we will not be perfect like Christ.

We are to FOLLOW Him.

We are to THINK like Him. DO as He did. SPEAK as He spoke.

This world does not have the Word of God abiding in it, and so it needs the Church to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ as Christ did when He preached the Gospel of His Kingdom.

Very simple. Not at all easy.

Stand firm on Christ when under attack.

And, at all other times, advance & conquer Creation with the Gospel bc Christ reigns now with all authority.
