at hundreds of women who arrived in the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, in a march to lift the siege on the besieged Al-Nasr Mosque in the town

Hundreds of women headed to the besieged Al-Nasr Mosque in the town of Beit Hanoun, where dozens of resistance fighters were inside, to break the siege. The occupation tanks intercepted them and opened fire on them directly. More than ten women were injured, one of whom entered a state of clinical death, while news came of the martyrdom of two of the participants.

MP Jamila Al-Shanti, who was leading the march, said that the women’s march passed through the stations of the Zionist military siege and reached the Omar bin Abdul Aziz Mosque inside the town of Beit Hanoun, explaining that the occupation soldiers called on the women via loudspeakers not to approach and to return to their homes, but the women “from the Khansa of Palestine did not stop.


Despite the killing and bloodshed that befell the women, they continued their march. MP Al-Shanti said, “We were only a hundred meters away from the Zionist tanks, and they (the occupation soldiers) continue to threaten us not to approach, and the women here are determined to lift the siege even if it costs them their lives.”


The resistance fighters were able to exit through the women who stormed the mosque, and at that time Raja Abu Awda was martyred. They entered under fire from the occupation soldiers and were able to exit through the alleys of Beit Hanoun.
