They carry the man and his burdens on their hearts, the family on their heads, and the entire war on their shoulders. They swallow the grief, wrap themselves in sorrow, live in deprivation, and then make from all of it a shelter, bread, and clothes. At night, they are drowned in tears or blood.

The women of this war are the first to be ground by its millstones, the most deformed by its tragedy, yet they are the least to complain, the greatest to endure, and the fiercest to be patient - the women of Gaza... ❤️‍🩹
