With regards to what is being circulated in the media, about our position on the negotiations to stop the Israeli aggressions and war crimes against us, we say:

Through our Qatari brothers, we learned of the Israeli response to the offer we received from the mediators on May 5. Which we had agreed to on May 6, it is clear that the Israeli response does not mention an agreement to a permanent ceasefire, nor does it respond to the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip.
This is not consistent with the position that US President Biden spoke about in his speech regarding a permanent ceasefire and comprehensive withdrawal, which we received positively and expressed our satisfaction with.
The Israeli response talks about reopening the door to negotiations about Everything and without end.
This is what Biden said: The mediators ensure that the negotiations continue indefinitely until the two parties agree.
This confirms that the occupation only wants a one stage negotiations outcome: in which it retrieves its prisoners... and then resumes its aggression and war against our people.

Israel does not want a ceasefire... and does not want realistic results... For all these reasons, we have communicated our position to the mediators... that unless there is a clear position from the Israeli occupation to prepare for a permanent ceasefire... and a comprehensive withdrawal from the Gaza Strip - and this is what could open the door wide to completing the agreement - otherwise we cannot come to an agreement that does not guarantee, or confirm a permanent ceasefire and comprehensive withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

Now we are waiting for the clear Israeli position on this issue, which has international consensus. We also call on the mediators for a clear position from the Israeli occupation regarding its commitment to a permanent ceasefire and comprehensive withdrawal.
This position, which we communicated to the mediators, is the national position that represents the Palestinian factions, and communicated it to our negotiating team, which represents them.
