⚠️WHAT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT NIGHT IN THE WAR?

A question I have been asked many times.. and my answer is always that all war is difficult.. but some of its scenes remain engraved and harsh and do not accept fading with the passage of time..

I took this photo on one of the nights of the siege of the north. No hospital was operating... except a medical center with modest capabilities that provided first aid only, and whoever arrived with moderate injuries or more, their inevitable fate was known.

Here I saw a woman shrouded among the corpses, even though she was still alive and breathing! There was no hope for her recovery

Here I saw a young man in his twenties, left alone with a ruptured stomach... breathing... speaking... calling out to us and introducing us by name... and no one dared to approach him... he would die after an hour or two, according to the doctor... and there was no possibility of saving him, even though saving him did not require much more than simple surgery, but it was not possible...

As for the attached picture, it is the most painful story..

I don't know how that night passed... How I fell asleep in the same room with a child waiting to die!

He arrived at the place with severe injuries as a result of heavy bombardment. The worn-out, tired team tried for hours to save him...then they put him here...awaiting his fate...They put him in our room where I spent the night with the journalists.

I sneakily took the picture, for myself... and kept it on my phone to remember how despicable the world is... and how unjust the world is...

I slept from fatigue, anxiety, oppression, sadness, and longing for my son, Wael, who is his age

Then they woke me up an hour before dawn. It was earlier than usual. The boy died. Not from a bullet. The boy died from an F-16 missile.

I remembered the scene as we went back in time... with the destruction of Al-Shifa Hospital... and medical capabilities returned once again to square one
