🇫🇷✈️ France will organize flights to evacuate its citizens from Haiti

France will begin special flights to evacuate its "most vulnerable citizens" from Haiti amid the ongoing armed conflict in the country, the French Foreign Ministry said.

“Due to the suspension of commercial flights from Port-au-Prince, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence, will open special flights to allow the most vulnerable citizens to leave the country,” the ministry said in a statement. Posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday (24).

The ministry added that the French embassy in Port-au-Prince remains open and continues to work despite the "deteriorating conditions."

He added, "These are not from us as tribes, and we are not from them. They do not belong to Palestine or to the people of Gaza. These cannot be among our people."
