π ANNOUNCEMENT: On May 20, at 11:00 Moscow Time (GMT+3), the Valdai Club will host an expert discussion, titled βRussia and Central Asia in New Strategic Conditionsβ, based on the results of the 4th Central Asian Conference, which took place in Ufa on May 14β15.
Relations between Russia and the countries of Central Asia entail interaction in a common geographical, economic and human development space, within which the parties achieve their national goals based on cooperation and mutual understanding.
Now these relations are going through a stage where all participants are adapting to changing international conditions, as well as the evolution of their own statehood and public institutions. It is important for the expert community to carefully monitor and assess the internal and external challenges and opportunities facing our countries. A significant number of these topics were included in the agenda of the 4th Central Asian Conference in Ufa.
In Moscow, experts will summarise the results of the conference and discuss new areas of joint research between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
