ππ The confrontation between Russia and the collective West is a struggle of different worldviews and ways of life. This struggle goes on both in the ontological dimension and at the level of ideology.
The proxy war of the collective West against Russia may continue in other regions of the world.
Russia, which has a positive experience in the dialogue of religions, has built an optimal model of interreligious and intercultural harmony and interaction in the society. Russia could also use this experience in the implementation of its new Eastern policy in the regions of the world with a predominantly Muslim population.
The Russian Federation, as one of the gravitational centres of world politics and economics, should quickly restructure its foreign policy and foreign economic activity in the current situation, both in the south and in the east.
It is necessary to increase the presence of Russian money and investments in the countries of the Global South and the Global East, which today form the backbone of the collective Non-West, writes Rustam Khaydarov, Doctor of Philosophy, expert from Tajikistan.

The Importance of Religious and Cultural Factors in Determining the New Eastern Policy of the Russian Federation: A View From Tajikistan
The Russian Federation, as one of the gravitational centres of world politics and economics, should quickly restructure its foreign policy and foreign economic activity in the current situation, both in the south and in the east, especially with countriesβ¦
π Over the course of one day, November 24, an unprecedented dialogue was hosted by Valdai Club. Representatives of the countryβs three major religions (Christianity, Islam and Buddhism), as well as academics from Russiaβs near and far abroad participated. The discussions underscored a number of important messages.
1οΈβ£ First, as diversity is the nature of the universe, mutual understanding is the only way to achieve national unity and world peace. It is important for us to respect each other despite our differences. It is dangerous to disregard others or try changing them by imposing certain beliefs and practices.
2οΈβ£ Second, loyalty to oneβs homeland must be above any ethnic, religious or sectarian affiliation. It serves as a guarantee of national cohesion and prevents social unrest in every country. Russia is a unique example in this context.
3οΈβ£ Third, faith is power, and it is necessary to use this force for good. The politicization of religion is very destructive.
Building bridges among Muslim societies and with others should enhance global peace, stability and security. That can be achieved through two main pillars, cultural and economic ones.
Our will to move together toward prosperity and development can bring about peace, stability and national unity, writes Nourhan ElSheikh, Professor of Political Science at Cairo University.
