2024-yil 7-iyun kuni Xalqaro mehnat tashkilotining (XMT) Jeneva shahridagi bosh qarorgohida Xalqaro mehnat konferensiyasining 112-sessiyasi doirasida 2024-2027-yillar uchun Tashkilot Ma’muriy kengashi aʼzolari va ularning oʻrinbosarlari saylovi boʻlib oʻtdi.
Ovoz berish natijalariga ko‘ra, O‘zbekiston Respublikasi eng ko‘p ovoz (194 ta, to‘planishi zarur bo'lgan eng kam ovoz soni - 105) to‘plagan holda o‘z tarixida birinchi marta XMT Ma’muriy kengashining a’zosi o‘rinbosari etib saylandi.
O‘zbekistonning Ma’muriy kengashga saylanishi tarixiy voqea bo‘ldi, chunki O‘zbekiston XMTning ushbu asosiy organiga birinchi marta a’zo bo‘ldi.
XMTga a’zo davlatlar O‘zbekiston Respublikasi Prezidentining mamlakatimizda bolalar mehnati va majburiy mehnatga barham berishga olib kelgan qat’iyati va siyosiy irodasini, XMTning bir qator muhim konvensiyalarini ratifikatsiya qilish, munosib mehnat sharoitlarini yaratish, muammolarni e’tiborsiz qoldirish siyosatidan ularni muloqot orqali hal etish tamoyiliga o‘tilganini yuqori baholadi.

The Republic of Uzbekistan was elected to the Administrative Council of the International Labor Organization
On June 7, 2024, as part of the 112th Session of the International Labor Conference at the ILO headquarters in Geneva, elections were held for members of the Organization’s Governing Body and their deputies for the period 2024-2027.
According to the voting results, the Republic of Uzbekistan, having received the largest number of votes (194 with the required minimum of 105), was elected to the ILO Administrative Council as a deputy member for the first time in its history.
The election of Uzbekistan to the Administrative Council is a historical event, since the Uzbekistan has become a member of this key ILO body for the first time.
ILO member states highly appreciate the determination and political will of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which led to the eradication of child and forced labor in the country, the ratification of a number of important ILO conventions in the field of promoting the principles of decent work, and the transition from a policy of ignoring problems to solving them through dialogue.
