While there, Leigh liaised with foreign governments to allow undercover surveillance of child brothels by former US law enforcement assets, and also worked closely with NGOs on a plan to have on-ground investigators amass evidence of money laundering by human traffickers – and then securely relay that data to world banks so they could flag accounts suspected of criminal activity.  In recognition of her extensive knowledge on slavery matters, Leigh was appointed eight years ago to the Congressional Advisory Committee on Human Trafficking

January 6:
2:26 PM: Capitol Police Chief Sund and Mayor Bowser’s Chief of Staff call the Pentagon for help from the National Guard. The Washington Post reported:

j. 2: 35 P.M. - General Flynn, and Gen Pyatt, and office of Deputy Mayor District
of Columbia (D.C.) join call.

k. 2:36 P.M. - Sund requests National Guard support again by verbal request.

- Gen Flynn and Gen Pyatt recommended for DC Guard to standby and start drafting a plan for courses of action (COA). Recommended plan that
the DC Guard can take over more points and help relieve Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) to go to the Capitol to assist Capitol Police.
