Fully-Funded Doctoral Studentships, The Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford is delighted to invite applications for fully-funded DPhil (Oxford’s PhD) scholarships tenable from 1st October 2019. We will be considering students for Oxford-Google DeepMind Graduate Scholarships, EPSRC Scholarships, Clarendon Scholarships, departmental funding and joint funding with colleges.

The University of Oxford is consistently ranked amongst the very best Computer Science departments in the world, for both teaching and research. We are committed to attracting the world’s most talented students and working with them to continue the success of the department.

The topics for the studentships are open, but should relate to the interests of one of the Department’s research areas: Algorithms & Complexity Theory, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Automated Verification, Computational Biology and Health Informatics, Cyber Physical Systems, Foundations, Structures and Quantum, Information Systems, Human Centred Computing, Programming Languages and Security. We also encourage applications in cross disciplinary areas such as Linguistics, Biology, Medicine and Quantum Foundations & Quantum Computation.

The studentships are for three years and are open to students of any nationality. Each studentship will cover university and college fees with a stipend of at least £14,777 per year. Applicants are normally expected to have, or be predicted to achieve, a first-class or a strong upper second-class grade in either (i) a four-year undergraduate degree (with integrated masters) in a relevant subject (or equivalent international qualifications), or (ii) a three-year BSc/BA degree followed by excellent (distinction) performance in a master's degree in a relevant subject.

‏محبوبیت بالای موتور جستجوی 👈👈👈DuckDuckGo 👈از سال 2010 تا اکتبر 2018 به عنوان یک جایگزین مناسب برای Google Search

👈‏متوسط جستجو در موتور جستجوی DuckDuckGo ، تقزیباً به ۳۰ میلیون جستجو در روز می رسد و این در حالیست که بر خلاف گوگل، این موتور جستجو ،داده های کاربران را جمع آوری نکرده و از تبلیغات شخصی استفاده نمی کند.
با این حال، براساس آمار وب گاه Techcrunch ، تعداد جستجوی روزانه در سایت DuckDuckGo در مقایسه غول جستجوگر گوگل با حداقل👈 ۳ میلیارد جستجو در روز، هنوز از مقدار پایینی برخوردار است.

💢 در این پست به بررسی باج افزار petya می پردازیم.

باج افزار Petya برخالف WannaCry تنها شبکه داخلی را هدف قرار میدهد و سعی در استفاده از شبکه اینترنت در گسترش خود ندارد. به همین دلیل است که تعداد آلودگیهای گزارش شده از آن نیز کمتر است.
این بدافزار سعی میکند کلمات عبوری جهت دسترسی به شبکه را از سیستم قربانی استخراج کند. یا آنکه چنانچه سیستم قربانی دارای دسترسی سطح ادمین در شبکه باشد، از سطح دسترسی برای آلوده کردن سایر سیستمها بهره میبرد. بنابراین حتی وجود یک سیستم وصله نشده و آسیب پذیر در یک شبکه میتواند منجر به آلوده شدن کل شبکه گردد. علت دریافت گزارشاتی مبنی بر آلوده شدن سیستم هایی که وصله 010-MS17 را دریافت کرده اند نیز همین مورد است.
از این رو Petya بسیار پیچیده تر و دقیق تر
از WannaCry عمل کرده است.

این بدافزار کلیه سیستمهای موجود در شبکه را بررسی و سعی میکند از طریق پورتهای باز 445 و 131 TCP با استفاده از یکی از روشهای ذکر شده، سیستم را آلوده کند.
