حسن هاشمی رئیس سازمان نظام صنفی رایانه‌ای کشور، با ارسال نامه‌هایی جداگانه به رئیس‌جمهور و وزیر ارتباطات، خواستار شفافیت دولت درباره آینده اقتصاد دیجیتال شد
او در نامه‌ای به عیسی زارع پور نیز ضمن گلایه از وضعیت فعلی اینترنت گفته «آیا بازیگران اصلی کشور در جهان مجازی، می‌توانند به عدم تکرار چنین محدودیت‌های گسترده‌ امیدوار باشند یا باید بستر فکری یا جغرافیایی فعالیت خود را برای همیشه تغییر دهند و انتظاری برای ثبات در این صنعت نداشته باشند؟
از سوی دیگر هاشمی در نامه خود به رییسی ضمن مهم شمردن امنیت کشور اعلام کرده «نمی‌شود به این موضوع نگاه تک‌بعدی داشت و در هر زمانی که صلاح دانسته شد، بستر فعالیت اقتصادی و امرار معاش جمعیتی چند میلیونی را مسدود کرد.»
